Zoochosis Beginner Guide

This guide is for beginners in Zoochosis, with tips on how to cure animals and more!

Zoochosis Tips for Beginners

Zoochosis is a game where you take care of animals and help them when they get sick. It reminds me a bit of The Mortuary Assistant. You start by feeding the animals and checking for any signs that they might be unwell. The game helps you understand what to do at first, but things can get tricky when mutant animals appear!

Your First Enclosure

Starting a new game can be tough because you have very few supplies. Here’s how to get started:

Step 1: Prepare Your Food

  • Before you visit the animals, prepare their food. You only get one chance to check each enclosure before the sick animals show symptoms. Don’t go back to the train until you finish everything you can.

Step 2: Pick Up the Phone

  • When you hear the phone ringing, answer it! A woman will tell you the code to get important supplies from a locker. This will help you in your mission.

Step 3: Get to Work

  • Push your cart to the animal enclosure. This is the “Investigation” phase.
    • Check each animal’s temperature.
    • Test how they react to sound.
    • Feed them and collect their droppings (poop).
    • Get blood samples from as many animals as you can. Don’t worry if some animals won’t cooperate right away.

Step 4: Analyze Your Samples

  • Go back to the train and analyze the samples you collected.
    • Not all animals will show every symptom, but at least one will.
    • If multiple animals show symptoms, they likely have the same sickness.

Step 5: Prepare for Mutants

  • As you head back to the enclosure, a mutant animal will appear! Don’t try to help the animals just yet. Instead, go back to the train and get more supplies.

Step 6: Collect Supplies

  • You can find a lot of useful supplies by the door where your wife is. Make sure you have enough to handle the mutant animal.
  • Create some tranquilizers (sleeping darts) to help you collect blood from the animals.

Step 7: The Battle

  • First, tranquilize a regular animal to get blood for a vaccine.
  • If the mutant is asleep, shoot it with a tranquilizer. It will wake up but go back to sleep, giving you some extra time.
  • In the train, make a vaccine for the sickness. Each vaccine will give you three darts to use on the mutant.
  • Return to the enclosure and shoot the mutant with the darts to cure it.

Step 8: Finishing Up

  • Once the mutant is cured, you can go back and forth between the train and the enclosure safely.
  • Make sure to give the sick animals their vaccines to keep them healthy!

Subsequent Enclosures

In later enclosures, you’ll be able to create special food for the mutant animals. Here are some tips:

  • Use meat in the animal’s food to help keep mutants calm while you prepare.
  • Always check the supplies after finishing each enclosure to ensure you have everything you need for the next one.

Extra Tips:

  • Infected animals can mutate while you’re inside the enclosure, so be careful!
  • Use special food to find out which animals are sick. For example, if you feed a gorilla special food and it doesn’t get sick, it might be healthy!
