ATLYSS Builds

We have listed the best builds for all classes in ATLYSS for you. You can also apply the general class descriptions and the optimal builds provided.

ATLYSS Classes

Upon reaching level 10, the player is given the opportunity to choose 1 of 3 game classes for your character: Fighter, Mystic, Bandit. Just go to 1 of the 3 game NPCs and select the desired quest. The NPC will give you an item that you need to use in your inventory and hooray – you are now a Warrior, Mage or Rogue!

Choose wisely, you won’t be able to change your class!

To get the Fighter class you need to talk to Enok (nice ass, bro!)

For Mystic with Angela.

And for Bandit with Sally.

Immediately after receiving a class, all your points that you invested in skills will be reset and a list of skills of your class will open. Read, choose what seems more interesting to you and spend points and skills to immediately use them in battle!

Don’t forget about the Charge Attack you got with the class (Default: R).

But keep in mind: the player has the opportunity to choose only 6 active skills before the battle, so there is no point in pumping more than 6 (including from the General Skills tab), since you will not be able to use all these skills at once in battle! And you can only change skills in Sanctum (in the hub).

But even if you spent skill points in the wrong place or just want to redistribute them to other skills – no problem!

Sally’s Shop will give you such an opportunity!

Just buy Tome of Unlearning and you can not worry about spending skill points on something you did not like!

ATLYSS Builds

Below we have listed the current best builds for all characters in ATLYSS.

Fighter Build

The Fighter is a melee-focused class designed for close-range combat. They use:

  • One-handed weapons (fast attacks)
  • Two-handed heavy weapons (slow but strong)
  • Polearms (long reach)

Despite being the tank role, Fighters have less self-healing compared to other classes. Fighters rely on strength and vitality for power and survivability.

Key Tips

  • Use your abilities: Don’t keep abilities unused; swap out abilities you don’t often use.
  • Experiment: Try new setups to find what works best for your playstyle.

Race Recommendations

Your race doesn’t matter much, as all racial skills can be unlocked. If you prefer tanking, Chang is a solid choice for the Sturdy skill.

Stats

Focus on:

  1. Strength: Boosts all Fighter class skills.
  2. Vitality: Essential for survival during battles.

Avoid putting points into other stats as they don’t add much for Fighters.

Fighter Skills

Here are the top skills to consider:

  • Stomp: Deals area damage, slows enemies, and lowers their defense.
  • Rage: Boosts strength for extra damage; keep this active.
  • Blood Gush: Inflicts damage over time (DoT). A reliable and strong choice.
  • Cyclone: A deadly spinning attack for two-handed weapons; traps enemies in damage.
  • Shield Bash: Stuns enemies and works well with shields.
  • Bulwark (Passive): Reduces stamina costs for blocking and improves parries.
  • Reflect (Passive): Reflects damage when blocking with a shield.

Avoid: Skills like Lethal Strike that lack utility or consistent damage.

Classless Skills

  • Sturdy: Makes you invulnerable for 8 seconds, excellent for tanking.
  • Recovery: Your only healing skill.
  • Inner Focus: Guarantees a critical hit on your next attack.

Actives:

  • Stomp (4/4)
  • Rage (6/6)
  • Blood Gush (4/4)
  • Cyclone (5/5)
  • Recovery (5/5)
  • Sturdy (3/3)

Passives:

  • Bulwark (4/4)
  • Heavy Melee Mastery (2/2)

Fighter Tank Build

Race choice:

In Atlyss, your race only determines your starting skill. While this might seem important, it’s not a big deal since you can find all racial skills on scrolls dropped by enemies or in chests. However, this guide depends heavily on one racial skill: Chang’s Sturdy.

If you choose to play as a Chang (they’re adorable!), you’ll start with Sturdy, but if not, you’ll need to find this skill. At rank 3, Sturdy gives you immunity to knockback and auto-parries all incoming damage for 8 seconds, with a 40-second cooldown. Let me say it again: it AUTO-PARRIES ALL DAMAGE FOR 8 SECONDS, making it effectively a full damage immunity skill and the core of this build.

Attributes

In Atlyss, you have limited attribute points, so you need to spend them wisely. This build focuses on two main stats: Strength and Vitality.

  • Strength: Increases your base attack damage and max stamina. Stamina is crucial for blocking attacks and using your main damage skill, Stomp.
  • Vitality: Boosts your max HP, which is essential for survival, especially for a tank.

While leveling up, split your points fairly evenly between Strength and Vitality.

  • If you’re confident defensively, prioritize Strength.
  • If you want more survivability, prioritize Vitality.

You’ll also need some Mind since 3 of your 6 skills cost Mana instead of Stamina. Aim for around 60 Mana so you won’t run out in fights.

Gear Choice & Enchantments

As a tank, your best weapon combo is Sword and Shield. Shields give you durability for blocking, and swords are the only compatible weapon.

Key enchantments:

  1. Energetic: Increases max Stamina.
  2. Guardian: Boosts Magic Defense, compensating for your low Mind stat.
  3. Killer: Boosts damage output.

Recommended setup:

  • Use 3 Killer enchantments, 1 Guardian, and 1 Energetic on your gear.

Skills

Active Skills

This build uses 6 active skills, but only 4 are essential.

  1. Sturdy
    • Your main survival skill. Grants knockback immunity and auto-parries damage for 8 seconds. Essential for tanking.
  2. Stomp
    • An AoE attack that weakens enemy defenses, generates Threat to keep enemies focused on you, and speeds up fights for your team.
  3. Shield Bash
    • Stuns enemies for 2.5 seconds at rank 4, even bosses. Use it to interrupt enemy attacks or create opportunities for healing and damage.
  4. Divine
    • A classless AoE spell that heals allies and damages enemies. Use it alongside Sturdy to sustain yourself during fights.

Flex Skills

  • Rage: Boosts your party’s damage stats for 30 seconds, with a cooldown of 30 seconds.
  • Blood Gush: Deals AoE damage and applies a damage-over-time effect. Great for solo play.

Other Flex Options

  • Siphon Leech: Adds damage and sustainability.
  • Recovery: Provides extra healing for solo runs.
  • Execute: Useful for high-health enemies.
  • Lethal Strike: Grants mobility.
Passive Skills

Passive skills are the backbone of your build, enhancing your survivability and mobility.

  1. Melee Mastery
    • Unlocks key combat moves. Prioritize leveling this to 2 early on.
  2. Bulwark
    • Reduces the Stamina cost of blocking and increases your parry window, making defensive play easier.
  3. Reflect
    • Lets you deflect projectiles with parries, useful against ranged enemies like Deadwoods and Carbuncles.

Skill Allocation (Level 25)

At level 25, aim for the following skill levels:

  • Sturdy: 3
  • Melee Mastery: 2
  • Divine: 3
  • Stomp: 4
  • Rage: 6
  • Blood Gush: 4
  • Bulwark: 4
  • Shield Bash: 4
  • Reflect: 4

With this setup, you’ll be a tanking powerhouse capable of protecting your team and dealing solid damage!

Mystic Build

Mystics are spellcasters who excel at dealing magic damage and supporting allies with healing. Their weapons include:

  • Scepters (single-handed)
  • Bells (two-handed).

They scale primarily with mind for magic power and benefit from some vitality for survivability.

Key Tips

  • Keep abilities active: Swap out any skill you don’t use often.
  • Stay flexible: Experiment with builds until you find your favorite combination.

Race Recommendations

The race you pick doesn’t significantly impact gameplay. Kubold is a good choice for its Alacrity skill, which speeds up casting.

Stats

Focus on:

  1. Mind: Enhances magic abilities.
  2. Vitality: Keeps you alive during tough fights.

Avoid spreading points into other stats unnecessarily.

Mystic Skills

Here are the top skills to consider:

  • Fluxbolt: Reliable single-target damage spell.
  • Fluxspear: Good damage with a stun effect; works on multiple targets.
  • Cross: Deals damage to multiple enemies and increases their magic damage taken.
  • Restora: Essential healing spell for survival.
  • Imbue: Buff that boosts your stats; always keep it active.
  • Blink (Passive): Adds extra mobility.

Avoid: Skills like Manaflow, which have limited usefulness.

Classless Skills

  • Life Tap: Converts health into mana, making it easier to spam spells.
  • Divine: A powerful AoE skill that damages enemies and heals allies.
  • Alacrity: Speeds up your next spell for free.

Actives:

  • Fluxbolt (7/7)
  • Restora (4/4)
  • Life Tap (1/3)
  • Divine (3/3)
  • Imbue (5/5)
  • Alacrity (3/3)

Passives:

  • Bell Mastery (3/3)
  • Blink (3/3)

Bandit Build

The Bandit is your classic “rogue” type character. They are fast, dodge attacks easily, and deal high physical damage. Bandits use katars (two-handed blades) and bows (two-handed ranged weapons).

When you can only pick a few abilities to use, remember this:

  • If you don’t use an ability, replace it.

Try different abilities to see what works best for you. If one isn’t helpful, switch to something better.

Races

Your character’s race doesn’t really matter for gameplay. It only decides which skill is unlocked for you right from the start. You can unlock all other racial skills by finding scrolls.

For this guide, I chose Byrdle because:

  1. Byrdle is cute.
  2. Their skill, Inner Focus, is amazing for Bandits.

Stats

The most important stat for Bandits is Dexterity. It makes your class abilities stronger.

  • Invest mostly in Dexterity.
  • Add some points to Vitality for more health, especially if you fight in close range.
  • Don’t worry about Mind (it’s useless for Bandits).
  • Skip Strength too—it doesn’t give enough stamina to be worth it. You’ll get stamina from gear and leveling up.

Bandit Skills

These are your main abilities:

  1. Venom Shot
    • Single-target ranged attack.
    • Requires a bow.
  2. Killer Jab
    • Melee version of Venom Shot.
    • Great for close combat.
  3. Volley
    • Ranged attack that hits multiple enemies.
    • Takes time to charge, which can make it tricky if enemies move around a lot.
  4. Pay Day
    • A melee move that stuns enemies, dashes through them, and drops money.
    • Stuns are very useful!
  5. Bomb Trap
    • Sets a bomb on the ground.
    • Great for group damage but tricky if a teammate is keeping enemies busy.
  6. Mist Veil
    • Makes you invisible and heals you slowly over 12 seconds.
    • The healing isn’t super strong, but it’s still useful.
  7. Devious Signet
    • Buff skill that boosts your power. A must-have unless someone else in your team already has it.
  8. Agile Technique
    • Increases your movement ability. Highly recommended!

Classless Skills

These are skills anyone can use. They’re usually weaker than Bandit-specific skills, but here are some good ones:

  • Inner Focus
    • Guarantees your next hit will be a critical hit. Works well with your strong single-hit abilities.
  • Leg Up
    • Adds even more mobility if you want to move super fast.
  • Spread Shot
    • A solid alternative to Volley for AoE attacks.

Final Tips

  • Focus on Dexterity and abilities that match your playstyle.
  • Experiment with skills to find what works best for you.
  • Don’t forget to swap out abilities you don’t use!

Actives:

  • Venom Shot: 6/6
  • Pay Day: 4/4
  • Bomb Trap: 4/4
  • Mist Veil: 4/4
  • Devious Signet: 6/6
  • Inner Focus: 3/3

Passives:

  • Agile Technique: 3/3
  • Ranged Mastery: 3/3
  • Katar Mastery: 2/2
