Finding collectibles in Dead as Disco can sometimes be difficult. With this guide, you’ll be able to access all cosmetic items and many missions, along with the items in your collection.
Collectibles Guide
I created this Dead as Disco collectibles guide to help you find the collectible items needed to unlock more quests and work toward obtaining all cosmetic items.
Before searching for an item, make sure you have completed these conditions if it does not appear for you:
- I have completed the Idol stage and hosted them in the encore.
- I have talked to them until the dialogue starts repeating.
- I have collected the previous items before moving on to the next stage.
Dex
1: Pocket Reactor Core
To find the Pocket Reactor Core, I simply replay Dex’s stage. Once I enter the stage, the item appears to the right of Dex.
2: Song Notes
I find the Song Notes in The Encore. Starting near Stix, I go down the stairs and immediately turn right. From there, I continue down the hallway until I find the item hidden behind some boxes.
3: Issue of Guitar Soldiers
The Issue of Guitar Soldiers is found during the pyramid fight in Dex’s stage. Once I spawn in, I look toward the right corner, where the collectible should be waiting.
Prophet
Item 1: Photo of Tagging D.E.D
I find the Photo of Tagging D.E.D in the first part of Prophet’s stage. It is located on top of one of the cars. It is technically out of bounds, but if I walk in front of it, I can still pick it up.
Item 2: Wish by Onimaru
Eventually, Prophet says he wants to hear some new tunes, and I need to play the song on the jukebox. To unlock it, I have to complete the challenge in Infinite Disco. After finishing the challenge, the song becomes available to select on the jukebox.
Item 3: Poster of Young Stix
The Poster of Young Stix is found in Prophet’s stage during the bouncer fight. I look along the walls during this section to find it.
Hemlock
Ad for Power Juice
The Ad for Power Juice appears right after the train section. I find it on the side of a vending machine. This one can be a little difficult to capture clearly because the camera wants to focus on Hemlock, but the collectible is definitely there.
Spray Cans
The Spray Cans are located in the first section of Prophet’s stage near the back. They are also close to the tagging photo collectible that can be found for Prophet.
Double Trouble Challenge
I find the Double Trouble Challenge in Infinite Disco, inside the challenges section. It is a tough challenge, but what helped me was focusing on one enemy and getting rid of him as quickly as possible. Takedowns are very useful here, and Prophet’s skill helps as well.
Aurora
Bonsai Tree
The Bonsai Tree is found in Prophet’s stage right after the bouncer fight. I look toward the top-left side of the stage to find it.
Issue of Business World
The Issue of Business World took me a while to find. It is located in the train tunnel during Hemlock’s stage, leaning against the wall on the left. It blends in very well, so I walk along the walls until I pick it up.
Photo of Rori & Her Best Friend
The Photo of Rori & Her Best Friend is found in Rori’s stage during the abyss section. I go all the way to the top-right area and look on the back of a crouching mannequin.
These are all of the currently available collectibles for the main story. I will update the guide with the side collectibles for the encore and the rest of the main story when they are added.
