Dead as Disco All Collectibles

In Dead as Disco, memorabilia are collectibles I can use to decorate the Encore, and some of them also add small bits of story flavor. In this guide, I list the memorabilia locations, unlock requirements, side quest order, and challenge rewards in one place.

Dead as Disco Memorabilia Collectibles

I use this guide to track the main memorabilia categories: Chair furniture, Heart decor, Poster wall decor, Polaroids, and Deals or Shards. Some items are unlocked by default, while others appear only after I finish specific idol dialogue, side quests, challenges, or milestones.

Memorabilia are scattered through story levels or awarded from side quests and milestones. Most of the time, I can identify them because they look slightly out of place or glow orange every few seconds.

Chair Furniture Category

Disco Rug

I unlock this by default.

Blue Couch

I unlock this by default. Purchasing it also spawns the “Chilling” polaroid.

Bonsai Tree

Requirement: I need to talk to Arora after defeating her first

I find this in Prophet’s “Office” arena while fighting the guards. It is in the front-left corner next to Prophet’s desk.

Pocket Reactor Core

Requirement: I need to talk to Dex after defeating him first

I find this to the right of Dex in the first arena of his story level.

Buzzkill

I unlock this after completing Hemlock’s story level on any difficulty.

I find this during the Bouncer fight, on top of the speakers beside the drumset in the front-right corner.

Disco Wrecking Ball

I unlock this by completing 10 different challenges with 2+ stars.

I unlock this by defeating Hemlock’s story level with a fully reset skill tree on any difficulty. Idol powers are okay.

I find this in Prophet’s story level, to the right of the graffiti behind Charlie, past the other spray cans.

CHOO CHOO #2

Requirement: I need to complete Hemlock’s previous side quest first

I unlock this by completing the “Double Trouble” challenge.

“Echolokators” Song Notes

Requirement: I need to complete Dex’s previous side quest first

I find this in the Encore, at the end of the hallway to the right of the stage. It is right next to where the Rawk Energy Holo Ad was.

“Rocker Up!” Hemlock Exclusive

I find this on the rocks at the back of the “Paradise” arena, specifically at the back-left from where I spawn.

“K*Bubble” Arora Exclusive

I find this on the seats during the Hemlock boss fight. It can be hard to spot and grab because the camera is locked on Hemlock.

“Guitar Soldiers” Dex Exclusive

Requirement: I need to complete Dex’s previous side quest first

I find this in phase 1 of Dex’s boss fight, in the front-right corner of the platform. It can be seen loading in.

“Business World” Prophet Exclusive

Requirement: I need to complete Arora’s previous side quest first

I find this in Hemlock’s story level, on the left side of the “Subway” arena.

Rawk Energy Holo Ad

In the Encore, I take the hallway to the right of the stage, where Arora stands after she is defeated. I find it next to the last couch in the hallway.

I unlock this by completing 5 different challenges with 2+ stars.

I unlock this by completing Arora’s story level with 5 stars on Normal or higher difficulty and completing the “Rhythm Divine” challenge with 5 stars.

I find this next to the vending machines during Hemlock’s boss fight. It can be hard to spot and grab because the camera is locked on Hemlock.

I find this in Prophet’s level, inside the “Highway” arena. It is on the right wall in the front corner.

Deals/Shards

Deals, which I also call Shards here, are small collectibles found in phase 3 of every idol boss fight. They all fit together on the poster outside the front of the Encore.

Hemlock’s Deal

I find this in phase 3 of Hemlock’s boss fight, at the edge of the arena to the left of the giant Buzzkill. It is easier to grab once the Moshers spawn and the camera is no longer locked to Hemlock.

Arora’s Deal

I find this in phase 3 of Arora’s boss fight, at the edge of the arena behind where Charlie starts. Because the camera stays locked on Arora, there is no clear camera-unlocked moment to get this shard.

Dex’s Deal

I find this in phase 3 of Dex’s boss fight, at the edge of the arena behind where Charlie starts. Like Arora’s shard, the camera does not unlock, so I aim to run into it while moving.

Prophet’s Deal

I find this in phase 3 of Prophet’s boss fight, at the edge of the arena behind where Prophet starts. It blends in with the stylised fence around the arena, and the camera stays locked to Prophet, so it can be difficult to get.

“Choo Choo #2”

I unlock this by completing the “Double Trouble” challenge.

I find this in Arora’s story level, inside the “Abyss” arena, on the back of a Fallen Doll in the front-right corner.

“DED 4 Lyfe”

I find this on the hood of the purple car beside the trash can in Prophet’s story level, to the right of where Charlie starts.

“24H Solo!!!”

I find this in Dex’s story level during the 3rd stage where the walls start moving. It is on the left wall after the area expands from a narrow alley into a bigger room.

“Stardom”

I find this on the left side of the stage in the Encore, behind the curtains.

“Chilling”

I need the Blue Couch collectible unlocked first. After that, I find this polaroid behind the boxes to the left of it.

I find this on the balcony of the Encore, next to the table.

I unlock this by completing the “Match Made In Heaven” challenge.

Side Quest Order

After I defeat each idol, they appear in the Encore so I can talk to them. Certain memorabilia only spawn after I finish specific dialogue or previous side quest steps, so I follow this order.

Hemlock

  • Collect the Power Juice Ad
  • Collect the Spray Paint
  • Complete the “Double Trouble” challenge

Arora

  • Collect the Bonsai Tree
  • Collect the “Business World” Prophet Exclusive
  • Collect the “Besties” polaroid

Dex

  • Collect the Pocket Reactor Core
  • Collect the “Echolokators” Song Notes
  • Collect the “Guitar Soldiers” Dex Exclusive

Prophet

  • Collect the “DED 4 Lyfe” polaroid
  • Complete the “Wish – Onimaru” challenge with 2+ stars and play it on the Jukebox
  • Collect the “Your Turn, Youngblood” Poster
