Dates & Wires Guide: Walkthrough and Unlocks

This guide will show you how to get every achievement in Dates & Wires without replaying unnecessary parts. By making specific choices in a specific order and using save points wisely, you can complete the entire game in just three playthroughs.

Dates & Wires Completion Guide 100%

This achievement is part of the main story, and you can’t miss it. You’ll get it when you pass security at the start of the game.

First Playthrough

In your first playthrough, follow the steps below and save your game when prompted:

Choices:

  1. Enter the Game: “Head on in.”
  2. First Decision: “Actually, I think I’m good for now.”
  3. Fixer Conversation: “But you could”
  4. Grab a Drink: “I’ll take a beer too”
  5. Pick a Vibe: “Industrial”
  6. Show Enthusiasm: “You bet!”
  7. Data Tape Choice: “Data tape”
  8. Preference: “I liked it before it got trendy.”

Sandman Mission:

  1. Offer help: “Offer to help out”
  2. Go outside: “Outside”
  3. Check the antenna: “Check the antenna”
  4. Check the monitors: “Check the monitors”
  5. Confront him about cameras: “Confront him about the cameras”

Continue:

  1. Let Fixer escort you: “Let Fixer escort you”
  2. Talk with Dan: “You bet!”
  3. Take a black coffee: “Sure, I will take a black coffee”

Save 1 (Create Save Point 1)

Load Save 1

Load Save 2

Save 3 (Create Save Point 3)

Second Playthrough

The second playthrough is shorter and only used to unlock one of the remaining achievements.

  5. Escape during noise: “Time to bail while I still have eardrums”
  6. If you insist: “I would love to!”
  7. Run: “Run”

Third Playthrough

The third and final playthrough is also short and is used to unlock the last achievement.

Choices:

  1. “Head on in”
  2. “Actually, I think I’m good for now”
  3. Dan: “Maybe another time”
  4. Fixer: “I can tell when I’m not wanted”
  5. Sh¡tparade: “I was hoping for something a little more romantic”
  6. Sandman: “Nah, I’ve had enough weirdness for one evening”
  7. NoK00L: “Nope, just walk away”

Note: The rest of the options don’t matter, as you have now completed all achievements available in the game.

Dates & Wires Unlocking Characters

Unlock Dan’s Second Date

  • Go on a date with Dan.
  • Tough it out during the noise section.
  • Invite Dan back to the hotel.
  • Ask if he’s okay.

Unlock Yegor’s Second Date

  • Go on a date and stay for all 3 trips.

Unlock Dreamspace

  • Go on a date with NoK00L.
  • Choose “Good things come to those who wait.”
  • Come clean about the truth.

Unlock Sandman’s Second Date

  • Check the antenna at his place.
  • Check the monitors.
  • Confront him about the cameras.

Unlock Jack’s Date

  • Complete every available date at the Icebox first.
  • Accept his date.
  • Play along with Jack.

Unlock Fixer’s Second Date + Quiz Answers

  • Play Fixer before Sandman and ace his quiz to be called a “try-hard.”
  • Afterwards, get on Sandman’s good ending, and Fixer will show up to escort you.

Fixer Quiz

This quiz Unlocks Try-Hard Achievement.

  1. Take a beer.
  2. Pick Industrial.
  3. “You bet!”
  4. Choose Data Tape.
  5. “Not really my thing.”

Unlock Vlad

  • Start a new game and go straight to the club.
  • Talk to all 5 date options and reject all of them.
  • Don’t go on any dates.
  • This will trigger a secret encounter and unlock the last souvenir.

Get Cyberjacked

  • Go on a date with Dan and leave during the noise section.
  • Agree to go for a ride with Lin.
  • If you haven’t had a successful date with Sandman, you will die.
  • If you have, Venera will be there to distract Lin, and you will escape.
  • This will also trigger bonus lines from Sandman during his second date.

With this guide, you can complete Dates & Wires with 100% of the achievements, using strategic saves to avoid unnecessary replays.
