In this Desktop Explorer puzzle guide, I list the passwords, codes, directions, and solutions I used for OpenMe, The Cave, The Temple, M4x1mus, Admin, and Guppy.

The Temple Puzzle Solutions

I begin The Temple with Shai. From there, I use the answers below for each path.

Temple Path 1

  • Start: Anubis

  • Words From Beyond 1: I rename the magic word to Inanna.
  • Words From Beyond 2: SEKHETAARU
  • Yellow Lockbox: I check the trash bin.

Temple Path 2

  • Start: Thoth
  • Thoth: 5267
  • Hourglass: 67
  • Next step: I go to the future.

Temple Path 3

  • Start: Ra
  • Ra: Sahmat
  • Tomb Site: I rename the magic word to WE ARE INCOMPLETE WITHOUT YOU.
  • Tomb Site: I request a hint using the light-bulb icon and answer NO.
  • Tomb Site: I compress the mistake file.
  • Tomb Site: I reopen it.
  • Tomb Site answer: MERNEITH

M4x1mus Recover Password Answers

M4x1mus Puzzle Solutions

I found this section more complicated, so I follow the steps and answers in order.

  • Do Not Open: POWER
  • Wait, Do Not Move: I swap the screen protector to the maze.
  • NextRooms login: The_Max
  • NextRooms password: sweaters123
  • Compass: north, west, south, east, south, west. I use the clock at the bottom-right of the screen, align the directions with the red arrow marking north, and enter the directions in the Konami-code sequence.

  • Compass 2: north, south, east, north, east, south. I solve it the same way as the previous compass puzzle.
  • Wormhole: I collect the painting codes and save both the television image and the painting with shapes.
  • Color codes: purple 0, red 2, blue -2, green 3, yellow 1
  • Number layout:

  • Ticket step: I play a game to the end to receive a ticket. I then make copies of the ticket, compress them into ZIP files, and make more copies of the ZIP files.
  • Vending machine amount: $3.75
  • Nonogram puzzle: I complete the nonogram.
  • Dress-up puzzle: I dress the mannequin like the person shown in the picture on the wall.
  • Dress-up puzzle 2: I use a green tie, blue shirt, and glasses.

I can begin this section from any point.
