In this guide, I show where I find each Loomis Log and tapes in Halloween: The Game, from the Prologue through Chapter 5. I follow the chapters in order and include screenshots to make each collectible location easier to identify.
All Loomis Log and Recording Locations
I have organized every location by chapter, starting with Escape From Smith’s Grove and continuing through Into the Shadows.

Prologue – Escape From Smith’s Grove (2 Logs)

At the start, when I spawn in, I turn around and enter the courtyard. I find the tape in the far-left corner, sitting on top of a bin.

Once I reach the gate, I make sure not to open it yet. Instead, I go to the left side toward the canopy. The tape is on the bin next to it.
Chapter 1 – The Road To HaddonField (2 Logs)

Inside the Rabbit in Red bar, I go through the restroom area and continue to the door on the left at the end. There is a woman inside the room, and I find the tape lying on the dresser.

After the Rabbit in Red, I reach the section where I chase a biker and receive the objective to chase down the mechanic. Instead of following him immediately, I enter his shop through the front entrance and go into the office. The tape is lying on the desk.
Chapter 2 – Main Street (2 Logs)

Once I gain access to free roam, I go to the record store, which is a mandatory location where I kill Tanya. I find the tape on the other side of the store.

On the other side of the map, in front of the graveyard, I enter the optional house where I can kill two of Rachel’s friends. I find the tape on the fireplace inside the house.
Chapter 3 – Returning Home (2 Logs)

After I kill the intruder and gain access to the map, I go across the street to House 808. I find the tape inside a pink room.

To the right of the previous house on the map, I enter another optional house. The tape is sitting on a cupboard in the middle of the house.
Chapter 4 – The Babysitters (3 Logs)

Across from the Wallace house, which is the main objective, I enter the optional house numbered 1542. I find the collectible in the front room of the house.

When I go to the Wallace house, a cutscene plays and places me in the backyard. Behind me and to the left is a laundry room shed. I find the tape on the washing machine, and I make sure to be careful of the dog.
Sheriff Brickett’s Recording
When I chase Laurie into the Doyle house, I find Sheriff Brickett’s Recording on the dining room table.
Chapter 5 – Into the Shadows (3 Logs)
I recommend building up to Bloodlust 2 to unlock Reality Tear again, as it makes collecting the logs in this chapter much easier.

I return to the Wallace house and go to the room where I had to hide and display the bodies in Chapter 4. I find the tape in the corner next to the window.
Laurie’s Recordings
I go back to the Doyle house across the street from the Wallace house, where I chased Laurie at the end of Chapter 4. I find the recording on a stand next to the dining room table.
Nurse Chambers Recordings
Toward the other side of town, I go to the house numbered 1486 on the right-hand side. From the front entrance, I turn left and find the recording on the bookcase.
