This guide will help you complete the Timed Room in Void Sols. It’s a challenging puzzle, but if you follow these steps, you can unlock the door and get some great loot.
How to Enter the Room
- Getting the Key: First, defeat the boss in the Supermax Prison. This will give you a key. This key lets you enter a special room that’s connected to the prison courtyard.
- Finding the Locked Door: There is a locked door northwest of the timer room, at the bottom of the security room. This door says you need a “codebearer ritual” to open it. There are four enemies near this door, so make sure you know where it is.
- Activating the Rocks: To unlock the door in the timer room, you need to enter a code on some rocks. To make the rocks work, you need to do a ritual with weapon symbols found in the room, and defeat an enemy behind the codebearer ritual door.
Step-by-Step Guide
- Wait for the Timer: Make sure the timer has reset so you have the full 5 minutes to complete the puzzle.
- Choose a Weapon Symbol: Look for the weapon symbols on the ground. Each symbol has four numbers. Start with the hammer symbol if you see it.
- Change Your Weapon: Go to the checkpoint just above the timer room. Change your weapon and reset your stats to match the weapon symbol and its numbers.
- Activate the Symbol: Go to the symbol you chose and activate it. It should turn green.
- Unlock the Ritual Ground: Rush to the locked ritual ground. You can now unlock it. Tip: You run faster when your stamina gauge is empty.
- Defeat the Enemy: Inside the ritual ground, there will be an enemy holding a scythe. Defeat this enemy to reveal a rock symbol. Memorize this symbol or take a screenshot.
- Return to the Checkpoint: Go back to the checkpoint above the timer room and activate it. This will allow you to choose another weapon symbol.
- Repeat the Process: Go back to the timer room and pick another weapon symbol. Repeat steps 3 to 6.
- Input the Rock Symbols: Go to the rocks near the weapon symbols and hit them until they show the rock symbol you saw after defeating the scythe enemy.
- Unlocking the Door: If you managed to activate all three weapon symbols, go to the door to the right of the timer room. It’s tricky, and you might only have time for two symbols. If so, input those first and then try each symbol for the last rock. Check the door after each try—there won’t be any other clues to tell you if you got it right.
- Enjoy the Loot: Once the door is unlocked, you can collect your loot.
Timed Room Codes
The door also says you can ask for help from people in other timelines. This means that the codes should be fixed, shareable, and able to be completed by others. The codes might be linked to the symbols you see with the timer (dots and dashes).
