In Project P.I.T.T., I feed products into The Maw to earn money, unlock new tools, progress through different phases, and complete all 23 Steam achievements. Everything can be completed on a single save, but I make sure to find the Gambling Crates before I accidentally throw them into The Maw.
Project P.I.T.T. Complete Guide
In this guide, I explain how I progress through Project P.I.T.T., build an efficient factory, keep my combos active, complete the hidden puzzles, find the Gambling Crates, unlock every achievement, and reach both endings.
I start inside a brutalist facility built around a hole called The Maw. Anything I throw into The Maw can earn me money, and faster dumps with larger combos give me better payouts. As I continue feeding it, The Maw grows and the facility progresses through new phases.
My main loop is simple: I make or buy products, move them into The Maw, keep my combo alive, spend the money at the terminal, and unlock better tools, machines, and products as I progress.
What Gives Me More Money:
- Combo: I send many products into The Maw within a short time to increase my payout.
- Chain / Strike: I keep feeding products without letting the chain stop.
- Better Products: Later products, including Pinata and candy, are more valuable than early ducks.
- Gambling Crates: These can give me bonus money and lucky or gold ducks, but their price increases over time.
Early Game Progression
At the beginning, I focus on unlocking the tools that help me automate my production instead of saving money. I start by feeding ducks, unlock the ability to throw products, and then move toward the broom, fans, the Cash Register, and the Automater.
- Make one duck and throw it into The Maw to unlock QWACK!.
- Use the press until my first money unlocks become available.
- Buy the throw upgrade, followed by the broom or my first fan.
- Unlock the Cash Register for KACHING! as soon as it becomes available.
- Turn on the Automater and point its output toward a fan or ramp leading into The Maw.
- Build up a pile of products and dump them together to reach MORE! and later EXTRA!.
- Buy sticky tools after unlocking panels and build a proper lane into The Maw.
- Continue spending money on new unlocks instead of hoarding it early.
My basic factory uses one Automater, a short funnel made from panels, and one fan pointing directly into The Maw. I only use the broom to clean up spills. Once I improve the spawn rate and stop products from leaking out of the funnel, this setup can also help me reach EXTRA! with a x200 combo.
If my money gain feels slow, I check whether I am feeding products one at a time, pointing the fan in the wrong direction, or blocking the Automater output with my character.
Best Builds and Factory Setups
There are no classes in Project P.I.T.T., so I focus on building one reliable factory and improving it as new tools and products become available.
Lane Build
I connect the Automater or later product machines to a chute made with sticky panels. I place fans in a row and direct everything toward The Maw. I can add pistons when products get stuck. This setup is useful for FAST! and STUFFED!.
Magnet Dump
I allow a large pile of products to build up, collect the pile with stacked magnets, and drop everything into The Maw at once. This is one of my main methods for reaching EXTRA! and MEGA!.
Golf Pocket
I use the golf club during the early and mid game to push piles of products into The Maw. It works well while my factory is still inefficient, but I stop relying on it once the Automater and fans become faster.
Pinata Build
After unlocking FIESTA!, I can smash the Pinata with the bat and feed the candy and other products into the same production lane.
Phases and Hidden Secrets
As I feed The Maw and unlock new equipment, the facility progresses through different phases. New products become available, debris can fall onto my existing factory, and later phases introduce assembly mechanics.
- I continue feeding The Maw and unlocking new items from the shop.
- When new products become available, I replace my old production input.
- The catwalk, fuse puzzle, and 200 kg pad are mid-game progression gates.
- After reaching 200 kg, I continue upgrading and making money to progress further.
- If phase changes destroy my factory with debris, I rebuild it using the newly unlocked tools.
- Later in the game, I assemble pieces together and use the completed products for the upstairs pipes.
How I Complete the 200 kg Puzzle
- I reach the catwalks and find the fuse box.
- I collect all 3 fuses and place them inside the fuse box to unlock UP?.
- I use the weighing pad and reach a total weight of 200 kg.
- I use heavy objects such as Gambling Crates, bumpers, remotes, or a panel box filled with crates.
- After completing the weigh-in, a chute, grate, or door becomes available.
- If the pipe remains at 0%, I return later with current-phase or assembled products.
Gambling Crates
GAMBLING! requires me to find all Gambling Crates. I search the main floor, catwalks, dark rooms after unlocking their lights, delivery pipes, and other areas around the facility. I avoid throwing unidentified crates into The Maw before the achievement unlocks.
Achievements Guide
I can complete all 23 Steam achievements on the same save. Most achievements unlock naturally as I progress, but the combo, feeding, money, crate, hidden puzzle, and ending achievements require additional attention.
Feed, Combo and Money Achievements
- QWACK! – First Duck
- I craft or pick up a rubber duck and put it into The Maw.
- KACHING! – Unlock Cash Register
- I continue feeding The Maw until the Cash Register appears in the terminal, then I unlock or buy it.
- MORE! – Combo x100
- I build up a pile of 100 products and dump them into The Maw before the combo window ends.
- EXTRA! – Combo x200
- I use a larger pile or a faster production lane and keep the combo active while everything enters The Maw.
- MEGA! – Combo x300
- I use a large magnet pile or a fully upgraded product line. I clear clogs first and avoid creating so much lag that the combo stops.
- MESS! – 500 Loose Products
- I stop the production line and allow 500 products to remain in the world instead of feeding them into The Maw.
- LAG! – 1000 Loose Products
- I do the same thing with 1,000 loose products, then clean everything up so I can continue working on FAST! and MEGA!.
- STUFFED! – 15,000 Products Fed
- I keep an automated lane running without clogging until my lifetime feed count reaches 15,000 products.
- FAST! – 400 Products per Minute
- I use upgraded Automaters or product machines, a short route, fans pointing into The Maw, and keep the production path clear of debris and my character.
- RICH! – Reach $1,000,000,000,000
- I need to reach one trillion dollars. I rely on large combos and late-game products instead of feeding individual ducks.
Unlock and Exploration Achievements
- FIESTA! – Unlock Pinata
- I continue feeding and buying upgrades until the Pinata becomes available in the terminal, then I unlock it and use the bat to smash it.
- WEIRD! – Unlock Anomaly
- I continue progressing, exploring, and buying new terminal unlocks until the Anomaly becomes available.
- GAMBLING! – Find All Gambling Crates
- I search the floor, catwalks, dark rooms, tubes, and upstairs areas until I find every Gambling Crate.
- CONSUMERISM! – Unlock and Buy Everything
- I unlock and purchase every item available through the terminal. If an item is still unavailable, I continue feeding The Maw or complete the required exploration and progression steps.
- UP?
- I collect all 3 fuses and place them into the fuse box on the catwalk. If I trigger I SEE YOU while climbing, I disable the cameras or use the lights at the ends of the support pillars before finishing the puzzle.
Hidden Achievements and Endings
- BAD?
- I interact with the watcher or camera system by looking at the observation window when someone is present or triggering the I SEE YOU event.
- INVISIBLE?
- I disable or remove the camera and watch system, then remain in an area that was previously monitored.
- HEAVY?
- I reach 200 kg on the upstairs weighing pad using heavy objects such as crates, bumpers, remotes, or a container filled with crates.
- OPEN?
- After completing the fuse and 200 kg puzzle, I interact with and open the newly available grate, door, or chute.
- LOOP?
- I use the numbered chute or percentage pipe with current-phase or assembled products. Raw ducks do not increase the percentage.
- SECRET?
- I complete the upstairs progression chain and check for any remaining dark rooms, lights, or interactions that I may have skipped.
- END?
- I continue feeding The Maw until I reach the first ending and the facility plays the internship or stats sequence.
- END!
- After reaching END?, I continue progressing through the remaining phases, assembly mechanics, upstairs pipe, and remaining unlocks until I reach the second ending.
Project P.I.T.T. Endgame Guide
Before I consider my Project P.I.T.T. save complete, I make sure my factory can run without clogging and check every remaining progression requirement.
- A production lane that can run without clogging.
- Pinata and Anomaly unlocked.
- Every terminal item purchased.
- All Gambling Crates found.
- The 3 fuses, 200 kg puzzle, door, and correct upstairs pipe completed.
- Combo x300, 400 products per minute, 15,000 products fed, and one trillion dollars reached.
- Both END? and END! unlocked.
Common Problems
- My combo stops before x100: I check for leaks, clogs, or my character blocking the production path.
- Phase changes destroyed my factory: I rebuild the line and use the newly available tools to remove debris.
- The pipe remains at 0%: I return with later or assembled products because raw ducks do not work.
- I always trigger I SEE YOU while climbing: I use the lights at the ends of the support pillars or destroy the cameras.
- I cannot unlock UP?: I make sure all 3 fuses are placed in the fuse box.
- I am missing a Gambling Crate: I check pipes, catwalks, and dark rooms again.
- RICH! does not unlock: I make sure I have reached $1,000,000,000,000.
- My FPS is too low for FAST!: I reduce the number of loose products and clean up the facility after completing LAG!.
- I am stuck in the environment: I use the Unstuck option from the pause menu instead of restarting my save.
