It’s Fine All Secrets & Achievements Guide

In It’s Fine, some achievements unlock naturally during progression, while others require specific upgrades, setups, or hidden interactions. In this guide, I explain how I unlock the trickier achievements, all 14 secrets, and the Secret Barn Ending.

Achievements, Secrets & Secret Barn Ending

Find out how to unlock the more challenging achievements, all 14 mysteries, and the Secret Barn Ending in the details below.

Normal Achievements

Most achievements are fairly straightforward, but these are the ones that require a more specific setup or method.

1. Back to Work!

I keep 10 Minibots idle at the Robotics Bay and then purchase the Enforcer Megabot. Since the Enforcer prioritizes hitting idle Minibots, I can unlock this achievement fairly quickly once the setup is ready.

2. Bombardilo

I avoid investing in the Botfarm Speed and Virality prestige nodes. Instead, I unlock Laser Rifles for the Minibots and Lightning Strike for Peanut.

Then I assign as many Minibots as possible to the Botfarm and wait for a lightning strike to trigger all the phones.

3. Cat > Dog

I unlock this achievement by purchasing Jinx and Shiro from the Company Credit Card panel.

4. Gardeneer

I unlock the Straw Hat prestige node and let the Gardener bot complete an entire growth cycle on one of the Garden plots.

5. Legend Has It

I invest in the Print Mastery prestige nodes and stack Luck. With enough Luck, I keep using the 3D Printer until I roll a Legendary artifact.

6. Lost in Translation

I stack Luck and unlock all of the Localization Station prestige nodes. After that, I complete as many localization demands as possible until I receive a rare Timeline Bonus with a purple outline.

7. Oppenmeower

I build up my Crunch levels and continue into a deep run. This becomes much easier after roughly Timeline 3.

8. Real Civil

I max out the Localizers quantity prestige node and complete demands for all five aliens during the same run.

9. Real Time Marketing

For this achievement, I need to accumulate a large amount of Line of Code, which uses the floppy disk currency. This becomes much easier during a deep run around the point where I am close to beating, or have already beaten, the game.

10. The Clickers Clique

I first unlock four Auto-Cursors from the prestige tree. From there, I can either purchase the Betty Megabot or find and equip the Cookie unique artifact from the 3D Printer.

11. Toxic Positivity

The maximum Toxicity level is 5. I can usually reach it after around four or five timeline jumps, so this achievement is mainly something I complete after finishing the base game.

All Secrets

There are several hidden interactions and secret objectives throughout It’s Fine. Below, I explain how I unlock each one.

1. Find the Secret Playtester

At the end credits, I watch the list of playtesters until a name called SECRET PLAYTESTER appears randomly among them. I click it to unlock the secret.

2. Find the Key to the Basement!

I can find the key on the wall in the bottom-left corner of the room, but I first need to purchase Jinx.

When I hold the cursor still near Jinx, it focuses on the cursor and jumps toward it after a few seconds. I position the cursor between Jinx and the key so that Jinx touches and grabs the key. I can then click the key to see the basement.

3. Think Outside the Garden

I use the Garden funnel to water every plant in the room, including the Cactus and Succulents room upgrades.

4. It Thrives in Stormy Weather

I first complete the third Garden challenge to unlock the Giga-Growth phase for Garden plants. With Peanut’s Lightning Strike unlocked, I also gain access to the Lightning Rod room upgrade, which allows lightning to strike the Garden.

I fully grow a plant and leave it unharvested. When lightning strikes the plant in this state, it grows into a larger form and the secret unlocks.

5. Trap a Pet Fly

I complete the first Garden challenge and then go to sleep. After waking up, an empty jar appears underneath the computer.

I drag the jar onto one of the Garden plots to catch a firefly and unlock the secret.

6. Win a Game of Simon

I watch the three lightbulbs to the left of the Botfarm. One of them occasionally starts blinking. When that happens, I click it to start the Simon minigame and complete it to unlock the secret.

7. Get Really Lucky

I stack at least 12 Luck on the 3D Printer and continue rolling artifacts until I find the Uber-Legendary Mirror of Ardnalak. I then print it to unlock the secret.

8. Joe’s Important Note

I zoom in as far as possible until a small note appears on the fridge. Clicking the note reveals a message from Joe that points me toward the third CD from the top.

I then find the stack of CDs on the right side of the room and click the third CD from the top.

9. It’s Falling the Wrong Way

I press ESC to open the pause menu, where multiple Joes fall from the top of the screen. After staying in the menu for a while, a horizontally flipped Joe appears at the bottom and moves upward. I click that Joe to unlock the secret.

10. Cheat to Activate Godmode Joe

During gameplay, I type iddqd on the keyboard to unlock this secret.

11. The Backrooms / Noclip out of Reality

I make sure there is no more than one server installed in the Cloud Servers rack. Then I click the Fusebox on the left, which reveals a wall inside the rack.

I click the location indicated by the arrow on that wall to unlock the secret.

12. Hidden Platformer Stage

From the Main Menu, I hold D until a figure drops from the top of the screen and platforms appear. I use WASD and Space to move and jump across the platforms, then collect the star to unlock the secret.

13. Feed it and Evolve It

I unlock the Megabots panel from the 3D Printer and then go to sleep. Afterward, a small box that costs Enriched Purranium and Scrap appears near the Robotics Bay.

I pay to unlock the Megabot inside. It moves around the room and occasionally uses its vacuum to collect dust. Once it has collected 10 dust, it stops moving. While Dustin is in this state, I click it to feed and evolve it, which unlocks the secret.

14. Look to the Stars

In the prestige Dreamtree, I click and toggle the stars so they match the order shown in the picture to the right of the Cloud Servers rack.

Secret Barn Ending

To unlock the Secret Barn Ending, I first need to complete the Jar of Flies secret from Trap a Pet Fly and finish the game.

After finishing the game, I return to the room and continue playing. I perform a timeline jump, and when the new run begins, the jar containing the fly appears underneath the computer again. This time, I can drag it.

There are several chicken silhouettes hidden in the dark background of the room. I drag the jar over each chicken to light and free them.

After I free all of the chickens, a new yellow portal appears in the timelines scene. I perform another timeline jump and enter the portal to unlock and play the Secret Barn Ending.
