In this guide, I explain how I unlock the Dave achievements in the Blue Hole, where I need to click for each hidden achievement, and how I catch the required Mythic fish after upgrading Dave.
Dave the Diver Achievements Guide
Most of these achievements take place after I unlock Dave and gain access to the Blue Hole section. Some achievements only require clicking specific objects, while others require Dave to catch Mythic fish at the correct depth.
Diver?
When my sushi bar reaches level 15 or higher, I get a random chance to catch Dave while fishing. Once I fish him up, the achievement unlocks and the Dave section appears in the UI. The rest of the guide takes place in that area, the Blue Hole.
Hero Dave
To unlock Hero Dave, I upgrade all of Dave’s gear until every piece is maxed out. The non-coin resources come passively from Dave hunting in the Blue Hole.
Dolphin Family
For Dolphin Family, I go to the shallowest depth, which is 0-50m. Then I click the coral cluster on the right side of the center of the screen ten times.
Sally Lightfoot Crab
For Sally Lightfoot Crab, I go to the middle depth, which is 50-130m. I click the yellow boat ten times to unlock the achievement.
Sea “Hero”
For Sea “Hero”, I go to the lowest depth, which is 130-250m. There is a lever on the ground inside the rocky outcropping on the right side of the screen. I click that lever ten times to get the achievement.
Clione Queen
Before I can unlock Clione Queen, I need to upgrade Dave’s maximum rarity so he can catch Mythic fish. After that, I go to the shallowest depth, 0-50m, and look for the Clione Queen.
After Dave catches it, I let him surface and then collect the fish from the boat. The achievement unlocks after I collect it.
When I switch between depths, the fish on the screen respawn. I use this to speed up the process of finding Mythic rarity fish.
Phantom Jellyfish
Before I can unlock Phantom Jellyfish, I need to upgrade Dave’s maximum rarity so he can catch Mythic fish. After that, I go to the middle depth, 50-130m, and look for the Phantom Jellyfish.
After Dave catches it, I let him surface and then collect the fish from the boat. The achievement unlocks after I collect it.
Switching between depths respawns the fish on screen, so I use this method when I want to find the Mythic rarity fish faster.
Mantis Shrimp
Before I can unlock Mantis Shrimp, I need to upgrade Dave’s maximum rarity so he can catch Mythic fish. After that, I go to the lowest depth, 130-250m, and look for the Mantis Shrimp.
After Dave catches it, I let him surface and then collect the fish from the boat. The achievement unlocks after I collect it.
When I switch between depths, the fish on screen respawn. This helps me refresh the available fish while searching for the Mythic rarity target.
