In Tidy Up the Halloween Shop, I can unlock three secret achievements by discovering a hidden room, bringing Jinx back to the shop, and finding a postcard. In this guide, I’ll show how I complete Behind the Books, A Familiar Face, and Wish You Were Here step by step.
Secret Achievements List
These three achievements are connected, so I complete them in order. I start by finding the secret room, then use what I discover inside to bring Jinx back before collecting the final achievement.
Behind the Books
Before I start looking for the secret room, I recommend cleaning up and putting away all the items in the shop. This makes it much easier to spot the clues I need.
To find the hidden room, I use the Veil Glass that I picked up earlier. Looking through it reveals a trail of white ghostly cat paw prints. I follow these prints through the shop until they lead me to the Crooked Haunted House shelves.
Once I reach the shelves, I look for the hidden switch in the wall. I press E to activate it and reveal the secret room, completing the Behind the Books achievement.
A Familiar Face
For A Familiar Face, my next objective is to bring Jinx back to the shop. Inside the secret room I just discovered, I find a spell book and a cauldron.
I interact with the open spell book on the desk to learn the recipe needed to bring Jinx back.
Find the Three Required Items
To collect the ingredients, I use the Veil Glass again. This time, three new trails of ghostly cat paw prints appear throughout the shop. I follow each trail and pick up one of the items that the prints have touched.
In my playthrough, the three items were:
- Perched Bat – Familiars section
- Sleeping Cat – Familiars section
- Eyeball Daisy – Flower area
Find Jinx’s Favorite Mouse
After collecting the three items, I follow Mara’s final clue to find Jinx’s favorite mouse. The mouse is inside Jinx’s little bed, tucked into the main U-shaped counter at the front of the shop.
Bring Jinx Back to the Shop
With everything collected, I return to the cauldron in the secret room. I add the three items first, followed by Jinx’s favorite mouse.
Once I finish adding the ingredients, Jinx returns to the shop and I complete the A Familiar Face achievement.
Wish You Were Here
For the final achievement, I stay inside the secret room after bringing Jinx back. I turn toward the room’s door and look for a small table with a lamp beside it.
The postcard I need is propped against the base of the lamp. I simply click on the postcard to unlock the Wish You Were Here achievement.
