Big Walk Achievements Guide

Big Walk Achievements Guide 100%

In this Big Walk achievements guide, I explain how I unlock the progression achievements, optional achievements, and other objectives connected to blorbs, keys, towers, transportation systems, and exploration. I also include the general gameplay tips that helped us while completing the different areas and puzzles.

All Achievements in Big Walk

Most of the progression achievements require me to collect blorbs, unlock keys, and use those keys at specific locations. Below, I explain the steps I follow for each achievement.

Progression Achievements

Big Walk

For the Big Walk achievement, I find the 4 blorbs in the Starting Area and bring them to the key-unlocker. After unlocking the key, I take it to the 5 key-maker slots.

Whenever I place the key into one of these slots, an arrow appears on top of it and points me toward the next location. Once the key is finished, I take it to the Red Bridge, also known as the Drawbridge, and place it in the slot.

This lowers the Drawbridge. The Big Walk achievement unlocks when I step onto the bridge.

Big View

For Big View, I bring 5 blorbs to the Red Tower to unlock the key. I make the key and then take it to the large stairs next to the tutorial area.

Using the key here unlocks the Map Room. I visit the Map Room to unlock the Big View achievement.

Note: This achievement is technically missable.

Big Sit

For the Big Sit achievement, I bring 5 blorbs to the Green Tower and unlock the key. After making the key, I take it to the lift station near the Green Tower.

This turns on the chairlift. I sit on the chairlift to unlock Big Sit.

Note: This achievement is technically missable.

Big Tunnel

To unlock Big Tunnel, I bring 5 blorbs to the Yellow Tower and use them to unlock the key. I make the key and take it to the Yellow Door.

Opening the Yellow Door unlocks the tunnel system as well as the other colored doors in the main area. I enter the tunnel system to trigger the Big Tunnel achievement.

Note: This achievement is technically missable.

Big Ride

For Big Ride, I bring 5 blorbs to the Blue Tower to unlock the key. Once I make the key, I take it to the Monorail Station near the Blue Tower.

This activates the monorail system. I step onto a moving monorail to unlock the Big Ride achievement.

Note: This achievement is technically missable.

Big Wall

After completing the previous 5 key and unlock sets, I unlock the Black Obelisk door. I then bring 6 blorbs to the Black Obelisk to receive the Black Key.

I take the Black Key to the bridge and gate at the Wall in the far west and use it to unlock the Wall Gate. I continue beyond the wall to unlock the Big Wall achievement.

Big Goodbye

Once I am past the wall, I make the long walk toward the giant Sphere. I enter the Sphere and complete all of its puzzles.

After completing them, I exit from the other side of the Sphere and continue toward the end of the game. I go through the final turnstile and then through the white door.

The Big Goodbye achievement unlocks when I exit the game.

Big Game

For Big Game, I bring the final 15 blorbs to the green building near the Tutorial and Map area.

There are 8 additional red blorbs available after using 30 of them to unlock all the keys. There is also a challenge area behind a purple door at the far East chairlift station.

The puzzles in this challenge area reward purple blorbs. After completing the game, these challenge blorbs also appear on the map.

Completing this process gives me the white key, which I take back to the initial Tutorial area. The small black sphere inside the Tutorial is now split in half and has a key slot.

I use the key, go down the stairs, and follow the instructions to reach the ending.

Other Achievements

These achievements are connected to wearable equipment, exploration, and the salon rather than the main progression path.

Big Pack and Big Help

Throughout the island, I can find blue spiral or circular structures that look similar to parking garages. Inside them are wearable devices.

Most of the earlier locations contain backpacks, while belts are more common later in the game.

  • Big Pack: I have someone place a backpack on me.
  • Big Help: I have someone place a belt on me.

Big Climb

For Big Climb, I start from the station that unlocks the chairlift and ride the chairlift 1 station west to the highest point station.

This is clearly the highest point in the game and has a small structure or sphere at the top. I get off the chairlift at this peak and climb all the way to the top to unlock the achievement.

Big Makeover

To unlock Big Makeover, I visit the salon inside the tunnel system after unlocking Big Tunnel.

I find the salon near the Red and Blue connection, close to the Rave. I cross a green bridge and then head down the red stairs into the purple area containing the salon.

At the salon, I select one of the 3 shiny colors at the bottom and have someone paint me. This triggers the Big Makeover achievement.

General Game Tips

These are the general strategies that we found useful while exploring the island, solving puzzles, collecting blorbs, and moving between areas.

  • Communicate: We always keep talking to our teammates while playing.
  • We found it very useful to assign specific gestures or gesture sequences to specific symbols. We could then reuse these gestures across several similar puzzle types without needing new solutions or verbal communication.
  • We go to the base of the Weather Balloon north of the Green and Blue towers. There is a unique item there that allows me to carry +1 blorb, and it can also be attached to my backpack.
  • When we need to reach an area that would normally be difficult to access, a teammate can grab me. We can then chain grabs back and forth to gain more height and climb over walls or barriers.
  • We found the tunnels to be the fastest way to travel between areas. The shortcut through the mountain near the golf blorb is also useful.
  • We found the monorail much less useful because it moves slowly and there are not many trains.
