Endings, Choices & Achievements Guide
I use this walkthrough as a chapter-by-chapter route reference. I keep the choices, bad ends, mid ends, good ends, achievement triggers, voice message notes, and route-split notes together so I can return to any chapter and clean up missing progress.

Misc Achievements
Before following the chapter routes, I check these general notes and miscellaneous achievement triggers.
Make sure to check your Mail on the main menu for 5000 coins.
- Achievement: History Buff for clicking on the All Chapters button in the lower right corner of the Storyline at any time.
- Achievement: Golden Butterfly Chase for clicking on the Current button in the lower right corner of the Storyline at any time.
- Achievement: Perfect for the Lazy for clicking on the Claim All button at the bottom of the All Chapters list, to claim progression rewards. You can also use the button on the Feats section.
- Achievement: Lingering Echoes for listening to 30 voice messages. This triggered in Chapter 18, Ganye Temple No Escape 2 for me. Achievement: Lingering Voices for listening to 100 voice messages. This triggered in Chapter 17, A New Era for me… after 100%ing the Side Story first. There are way more than 100 voice messages!
- Achievement: Spread the Word for using the Share feature at the end of a main chapter. You need to click the button in the lower right corner, then click Save and it will award.
- Achievement: Always Right for using the Trait Sketch mechanic at the end of a main chapter. Click on it in the lower left, then click Resume a few times and it will award.
- Achievement: Master Detective is awarded for enabling Hint Mode. Click the slider at the bottom of the Storyline.
- Achievement: A Long Road Ahead for getting 50 endings. This triggered in Chapter 22, Another Life 1 for me. Achievement: Hard-won Fight for getting 100 endings. This triggered around Chapter 23, First Among the Nine Consorts for me after 100%ing the Side Story first. Achievement: Tranquil Soul for 25 non-bad endings, which triggered for me in Chapter 30 after 100%ing the Side Story first.
- Achievement: Flow of the Past for reaching the Chapter Summary, which is found at any of the true endings of the Main or Side Stories.
- Achievement: Screenshot Addict for taking 10 screenshots. Click on the game to bring up the UI overlay, then click on the top-most button on the right side to take a screenshot. Do this 10 times for the achievement. You do not need to Save the screenshots.
- Achievement: Whispers Behind Your Back for How Others See You 5 times. These appear in the Main Story only, at the end of each chapter. Click on a character portrait who has 3-dots above their head. You can click the same one 5 times.
- Achievement: Curious Cat for watching a hidden video. These appear at chapter ends, but the achievement will only trigger from the Main Story. There are 3 at the end of Chapter 17, A New Era. Just click and watch one of them.
- Achievement: Time Rewind awards when you reach a Bad End and use the Tips button for 995 gold for the first time.
- Achievement: Getting the Hang of It for reaching 50% completion. This awarded near the end of Chapter 22 of the Main Story for me, after 100%ing the Side Story first. Achievement: Master of All will unlock after you 100% both the Main and Side Story.
- Achievement: Seen It All for getting all endings types. I think this awarded around Chapter 24 of the Main Story for me, after 100%ing the Side Story… but it didn’t actually trigger until I closed and reopened the game, so I’m not certain.
- Achievement: Archivist Extraordinaire unlocked for me when meeting the requirement for Think Twice, which is to enable hint mode on 3 storylines. It should unlock after Chapter 38 Main Story or late in Side Story, depending which you play second.
- Achievement: Scholar Supreme will unlock very late in the Main or Side Story, whichever you play second, on the way towards 100%. Achievement: Networking Pro will as well. These are for unlocking all Characters and all Collectibles.
- Achievement: Personalized Touch will unlock when you click on Trait Sketch after finishing the Main Story
- Achievement: Martial Arts Master will unlock after completing all QTEs, even the ones that can’t be failed. This will unlock either very late in Side Story or when you build the Buddha at the very end of Main Story, depending on which you do second.
- Achievement: The Perfect Monarch should unlock when you 100% the Main Story, just make sure to reach any chapter end again after doing so to update your attribute values. Also note that you need to select both YES and NO at the final “build a buddha” choice in Chapter 41 to reach 500+.
- Achievement: Fragrance Lingers for assigning 999 flowers in the Leaderboard. Achievement: Flowing Vitality for assigning 999 eggs in the Leaderboard. When I finished the game, I had 900+ of each, and then you can Exchange 10,000 gold for 100 flowers/eggs.
- Court Mode: This will unlock after completing the Main Story. Achievement: The Throne Has Spoken for making 1 decision to Promote/Demote. Achievements: Imperial Grade and Imperial Fury are for promoting and demoting 9+ people; there are 12 total… first, you need to Promote/Honor 9+, get the results screen and then EXIT and RE-ENTER the results screen to get the achievement to award. Then click on Reassign in the upper right corner and Demote/Disgrade 9+, get the results screen and then exit + re-enter again to get the second achievement.
- Court Mode: You can also review memorials; Achievement: Ready to Rule will unlock after your first decision to Approve/Reject. Achievement: Diligent Sovereign is awarded for completing 25 memorial reviews.
