FEED THE QUEEN: How to Get 20 DNA from 16-19

In this guide, I’ll show the exact strategy I used, including the optimal building order, unit setup, upgrade priorities, and resource management choices that helped me scale production to hundreds of millions per minute and unlock the key technologies needed for efficient DNA farming.

How to Get 20 DNA from Stages 16-19

If you’re trying to reach 20 DNA during stages 16–19 in FEED THE QUEEN, this is the exact setup I used. By following the building order, unit composition, upgrade priorities, and resource management outlined below, I was able to build a strong economy and eventually reach the required DNA target.

Method

I started by purchasing 30 Larvae, though you can buy more later if needed.

Building Order

Buildings Purchased from the Queen

I unlocked the following buildings in this order:

  1. The Foragers’ Burrow
  2. The Hauler’s Dormitory
  3. The Evolution Chamber

Buildings Purchased from the Evolution Chamber

After unlocking the Evolution Chamber, I purchased:

  1. The Farm
  2. The Thrower’s Den
  3. The Orchard

Unit Setup

I created the following units:

  • 6 Throwers
  • 10 Haulers
  • 10 Foragers

Farm and Orchard Configuration

Farm Setup

I upgraded the Farm to the maximum level, excluding Brain upgrades.

After upgrading it, I set the Farm to produce:

  • Hot Sauce

Orchard Setup

I also fully upgraded the Orchard, excluding Brain upgrades.

Then I set the Orchard to produce:

  • Ice Berry

Royal Jelly Purchase

At this point, I purchased Royal Jelly from the Queen.

Additional Buildings

Evolution Chamber Unlocks

Next, I purchased:

  • The Cuisine
  • The Mushroom Laboratory
  • The Fishery

Cuisine Setup

Inside The Cuisine, I purchased:

  • Glace Flambee

I then set the Cuisine to produce this food.

Mushroom Laboratory Setup

I purchased all available mushrooms in the Mushroom Laboratory.

I specifically bought:

  • Chanterelle

Then I created:

  • 40 Mycologists
  • 25 Lab Technicians

Unit Upgrades

Throwers

I upgraded Throwers to the maximum level, excluding Brain upgrades.

After upgrading them, I set them to:

  • Largest

Haulers

I upgraded Haulers to the maximum level, excluding Brain upgrades.

Foragers

I upgraded Foragers to the maximum level and purchased:

  • Jackpot!

I then configured them to gather:

  • Limes

Afterward, I maxed out the new Forager upgrades, including:

  • Rainbow Road

Mental Calculation

If I was still missing a Brain at this stage, I purchased:

  • Mental Calculation

from the Evolution Chamber.

Saving for The Mine

At this point, my colony was generating a few hundred million resources per minute.

I simply let the game idle until I had enough resources to purchase:

  • The Mine (1 Billion)

Mine Unlocks

After purchasing The Mine, I unlocked:

  • Icicles
  • Cave Mushrooms
  • Nacre

Fishery Progression

Within the Fishery, I completed the following upgrades:

  1. Built a Boat
  2. Purchased a Ghost Ship
  3. Purchased Perliculture
  4. Purchased Nucleus

Brain Upgrade Priority

Any spare Brains were spent in this order:

  1. The Farm – Shiny
  2. The Fishery – The Fleet

Final Optimization

At this stage, the setup was essentially complete.

I spent additional Larvae on:

  • Lab Technicians
  • Haulers

My final setup included:

  • 35 Lab Technicians total
  • 12 Haulers total

I also purchased:

  • Sous-Chef in The Cuisine

Reaching 500M+ Per Minute

Even if the displayed income does not immediately approach 500 million per minute, don’t worry. My income fluctuated significantly, usually ranging between roughly 200 million and 510 million per minute.

I simply left the game idle, and eventually it reached the 500M/min mark consistently.

Any extra Larvae earned afterward could be invested into additional Lab Technicians to further improve production.
