In Membrillo Hid My Socks, I use this guide to find all 30 socks in collection-menu order and solve the puzzles connected to them. I start with spoiler-free hints, then move into the full sock locations and puzzle solutions.

In this Membrillo Hid My Socks guide, I list every sock location in the same order as the sock collection menu. I also include the puzzle solutions needed for the hidden socks, so I can keep progressing without getting stuck. This is not an achievements guide.

Hints for Socks and Puzzles
This section is for small hints only. The socks are listed in the same order as the in-game sock collection menu, and the full solutions start after these hints. (Spoiler Free)
Puzzle Hints
- Cables: Each cable unplugs other cables, and the pattern is always the same. The puzzle can be solved in 3 clicks.
- PC Password: The puzzle is related to the symbols on the sticky note right below the screen. These symbols also appear in other places in the game.
- Folders Maze: Each folder has a different folder pattern, so I can use those patterns to know if I have been there before. If I do not want the achievement, I do not need to open every folder. There are 2 hidden things in this puzzle.
- Folders Maze additional hint: I should look at the desktop folders in the corners first, especially the ones on the right side.
- Drawer Puzzle: This one is mostly skill-based. There is a faster solution video later in the guide, but other longer solutions also work.
- Shelves Puzzle: I need to sort the items based on a specific attribute. The first item goes on top of the dot.

- Sock 1: Window side of the room, hanging somewhere.
- Sock 2: Desk side of the room, hanging somewhere.
- Sock 4: Bed and posters side of the room, lying on top of something.
- Sock 7: Desk side of the room, inside a sub-location.
Socks Found by Clicking on Things
- Sock 3: Window side of the room, under something.
- Sock 5: Bed and posters side of the room, covered by two layers of something.
- Sock 6: Bed and posters side of the room, hiding behind some things.
- Sock 8: Bathroom door side of the room, and it needs light to be shown.
- Sock 9: Bed and posters side of the room, found after dropping something elsewhere.
- Sock 10: Desk side of the room, inside a sub-location, underneath soft items.
- Sock 11: Desk side of the room, after solving the cables puzzle.
- Sock 12: Desk side of the room, inside a sub-location. If I can see it but cannot click it, I still need to fully uncover it from the trash.
- Sock 13: Bathroom door side of the room, after finishing the shelves puzzle.
- Sock 24: Desk side of the room, inside a sub-location, after solving 2 puzzles and moving through a digital maze.
- Sock 30: Somewhere I probably have not searched yet. I need to think outside the box, somewhere no other sock was found, yet all of them are there.
Socks That Need Inventory Items
- Sock 14: Window side of the room, with something sharp and strong enough to cut through wire.
- Sock 15: Window side of the room, with something that prunes.
- Sock 16: Window side of the room, inside a sub-location, under something cute but possibly deadly.
- Sock 17: Bathroom door side of the room, inside something locked and obtained after solving a puzzle.
- Sock 18: Bed and posters side of the room, inside a very dark sub-location. I may need to move things around until it appears, and it is found somewhere socks are usually worn.
- Sock 19: Window side of the room, somewhere too high to reach without an item to step on.
- Sock 20: Desk side of the room, somewhere too high to reach without an item to step on.
- Sock 21: Bed and posters side of the room, somewhere too high to reach without an item to step on, and it also needs something that unscrews. I need to enter the bathroom first.
- Sock 22: Window side of the room, inside something bumpy that must be cut open.
- Sock 23: Bed and posters side of the room, inside something fluffy and soft that must be cut open.
- Sock 25: Bathroom door side of the room, stored somewhere clean.
- Sock 26: Bathroom door side of the room, found somewhere disgusting.
- Sock 27: Bathroom door side of the room, inside something dangerous and techy.
- Sock 28: Bathroom door side of the room, inside something cold.
- Sock 29: Desk side of the room, inside something hot.
Sock 1: Ketchup Sock
I find this sock on the first screen after the cutscene. It is hanging from a drawer on the right-hand side of the screen.
Sock 2: Overworked Racoon
I find this sock on the screen with the PC monitors, hanging from one of the monitors.
Sock 3: Poppy Sock
I get this sock after clicking the coat and making it fall down. The sock is on the hanger.
Sock 4: Cassata Brick Sock
I find this sock on the bed and posters screen. I do not need to do anything first; it is lying on the part of the blanket that touches the floor.
Sock 5: Treasure Trove Sock
I find this sock on the bed and posters side. This time, I need to click the bedding to uncover it.
Sock 6: Umi Sock
I find this sock taped to the wall behind the posters.
Sock 7: Nails & Nails Sock
I find this sock in the corner near the cabinet, hidden inside the umbrella.
Sock 8: Mote con Huesillo Sock
I find this sock hidden in the lamp. To get it, I first need to plug in the lamp so it turns on and reveals the sock.
Sock 9: Membrillo (the Fruit) Sock
I get this sock after dropping the coat to the ground. Then I go to the bed and posters side and look at the far-right part of the screen, where the sock is hidden inside a hole in the wall.
Sock 10: Cortinarius Sock
I find this sock in the corner near the cabinet. To get it, I click most of the clothes in the drawer until the sock appears on the side of the drawer. I do this by clicking the clothes on top one by one until they disappear.
Sock 11: Vacuum Cleaner Sock + Cables Puzzle
I get this sock after unplugging all the computer cables. Before solving the puzzle, I first number each plugged cable and match it with its unplugged version.
The fastest way I solve the cables puzzle is by clicking the cables in this order:
- Cable 3
- Cable 4
- Cable 5
This is how the sequence looks in-game.
Note: If I have not completed the computer puzzles yet, I need to plug the cables back in after picking up the sock. I can follow the same sequence backwards.
Sock 12: Can of Sardines Sock
I get this sock in the trash can. I have to fully uncover it before I can pick it up. If even a small piece of trash is still covering it, it will not work.
Sock 13: Bugs Sock + Shelves Puzzle
I get this sock after completing the shelves puzzle. The puzzle is solved by sorting the items on the shelves by quantity, starting on top of the dot as number 1.

Sock 14: Death Fest Sock
I find this sock inside the guitar. First, I need to find the shears hidden on top of the bed. Then I click the guitar to flip it and use the shears on the strings, right at the hole, to break them and get the sock.
Sock 15: Chopped Limbs Buried in the Garden Sock
I find this sock in the plant by the window. To get it, I first need to find the shears hidden on top of the bed and use them on the plant.
Sock 16: Membrillo (the Cat) Sock
I find this sock under Membrillo. To get it, I need to find the comb hidden underneath the posters and then use it on Membrillo.
Sock 17: Trolley Problem Sock + Drawer Puzzle
I get this sock after solving the drawer puzzle. I access that puzzle by opening the drawer with the small key, which is found in the plant by the window.
Step 1: I get the shears hidden on top of the bed so I can cut the plant.
Step 2: I cut the plant, pick up the key, and use it on the drawer.
Step 3: I solve the drawer puzzle. This puzzle is based on a version of the Chinese puzzle called Klotski. If I am struggling, I can use the restart button and follow the video solution for the most efficient movement route, which also triggers the achievement.

Sock 18: Old Lady Sock
I find this sock under the bed, hidden inside the shoe. To get it, I first need the flashlight, which appears on the coat after it falls, and the batteries, which are found in the trash can. I combine them in the inventory and use the charged flashlight under the bed. Once I am there, I drag the shoe and rotate it 180 degrees so it becomes upside down and the sock appears. The easiest way to rotate it is to use the corner of the suitcase.
Sock 19: Bookworm Sock
I find this sock inside the box stored on the shelf above the window. To open it, I first need the stool, which is under the bed. I get the flashlight after the coat falls, find the battery in the trash can, combine them, and use the charged flashlight under the bed. After getting the stool, I drag it to the box to open it. Afterward, I can pick up the stool again and use it in other parts of the room.
Sock 20: Pota-toes Sock
I find this sock hidden on top of the cabinet. To get it, I need the stool from under the bed. Once I have the stool, I drag it to the clothes pile on top of the cabinet, which uncovers the sock. I should pick up the stool again afterward so I can use it for other puzzles.
Sock 21: Haunted House Sock + How to Get Into the Bathroom
I find this sock inside the vent in the upper-right corner of the wall with the posters and bed. To get it, I need both the stool and the screwdriver. The stool is under the bed, as explained in Sock 19. This section focuses on getting into the bathroom and finding the screwdriver.
Step 1: I get the Hairball by using the comb on Membrillo. The comb is found underneath the posters.
Step 2: I get the Key Mold. This item is found in the corner near the cabinet after clicking all the clothes.
Step 3: I get the Glue after solving the Drawer Puzzle. In short, I take the shears from the bed, cut the plant by the window, pick up the small key, use it on the drawer, and solve the dragging puzzle. After getting the Trolley Problem Sock, I can pick up the glue left behind in the drawer.
Step 4: I combine the Hairball with the Key Mold to get the Soft Key. Then I combine the Soft Key with the Glue to make the Sturdy Key.
Step 5: I use the Sturdy Key on the bathroom door. Now I can enter the bathroom.
Step 6: I open the cabinet and get the screwdriver.
Step 7: I use the stool on the vent, then use the screwdriver to open it and find the sock. If I cannot reach the sock properly, I need to close the inventory by clicking the pocket.
Sock 22: Vending Machine Sock
I recommend reading Sock 21 first, because that section explains how to access the bathroom. This sock is hidden in the puff’s lump, and I need to cut the lump with the knife to get the sock out. The knife is hidden inside the vent with the Haunted House Sock, so the Sock 21 instructions also explain how to reach it. I especially need to close the inventory so I can pick up the item from the vent.
After getting the knife, I drag it directly onto the lump to get the sock.
Sock 23: Crab Cult Sock
I find this sock hidden inside the pillow on top of the bed. Like Sock 22, I need to cut it open with the knife. The knife is found in the vent, and Sock 21 explains how to access that vent.
Sock 24: Blue Screen of Death Sock Part 1 – Password Puzzle
This sock requires several puzzles. The first one is the PC password puzzle. I solve it by counting the symbols on the posters, both on the wall next to the computer and above the bed. Ripping the posters is necessary because I need to count all the symbols.

Here I can see all the symbols and how to count them. The final password is 3672.
Sock 24: Blue Screen of Death Sock Part 2 – Folders Maze
After solving the password puzzle, I need to find the sock inside the folders. There are many folders to open for an achievement, but the sock itself is found by following this sequence.
Note: The original guide mentions that this puzzle may be simplified later. There is also another object hidden in the folders, which is explained later in the guide.
Sock 25: Public Bathroom Sock
I find this sock in the bathroom cabinet, right below the screwdriver. If I need help entering the bathroom, I follow the Sock 21 section first.
Sock 26: Sewers Sock
I find this sock in the bathroom by flushing the toilet. If I have not entered the bathroom yet, I follow the Sock 21 section first.
Sock 27: Spam Sock
I find this sock inside the computer. To get it, I need the screwdriver from the bathroom cabinet, as explained in Sock 21. After using the screwdriver on the computer, the sock appears in its ventilation.
Sock 28: Aquarium Sock
I find this sock inside the computer, just like Sock 27, but this one requires the hammer to break the cooling system. First, I need to get the hammer.
Note: If I want the Drastic Measures achievement, I should not use the hammer on the cooling system until I have broken everything breakable in the game. Using it on the cooling system makes it disappear from my inventory.
To get the hammer, I need to go through the Folders Maze again. This is the sequence I follow.
Next, I use the hammer on the cooling system to break it and get the sock.
Sock 29: Teatime Sock
I find this sock inside the hot mug on the desk. I need to break the cooling system in the PC to get the ice, then use the ice to cool the tea and get the sock. Sock 28 explains how to break the cooling system.
Sock 30: Sock of Socks
The final sock is inside the collection menu. I look to the left side and drag the screen to reach it. At the very end, I find the sock hanging from the string.
