The Basement is one of the first major sections where I need to pay close attention to both audio and room interactions. Once I understand the order of events, it becomes much easier to finish.
Subliminal Basement Walkthrough
Here is the exact order I follow to clear the Basement level.
- I plug in the TV by interacting with the plug on the floor in the room to my right.
- I watch the TV and listen carefully until I hear the woman say 5:35. That is the time I need.
- I input that time on the clock on the wall.
- When I hear a knock, I go to that door, open it with E, flash my light with LMB, and then press E again so the door closes.
- In phase two, after the narrator says my focus is slipping, I still manage the doors, but now I also turn on any light that goes out in either room.
- After the sequence ends, I go through the door near the stairs to leave the area.
