How to get Golden Items and Weapons in Lucid Blocks
In this guide, I explain the exact method I use to obtain Golden Items and weapons in Lucid Blocks. This guide is intended for players who have already spent at least a few hours in the game. Because of that, I do not cover basic crafting mechanics such as grappling hooks, light grapples, or gyroscope hooks.
Instead, I focus directly on the process that leads to Golden Items.
Items I Prepare Before Starting
Before I begin the process, I make sure I already have a few essential tools. These are basic items that most players should already know how to craft after playing for one or two hours.
Here are the tools I always bring with me:
- Gyro Hook
- Any pick
- Any axe
- Any sword
To craft a Gyro Hook, I combine Light Pincers with a Hook. Once I have this tool, I am ready to start searching for the structure that makes the rest of the process possible.
Finding the Structure That Contains Crafting Materials
The next step is locating a specific structure in the world. In my experience, this structure can appear in any biome, which makes the method quite universal and easy to apply. Sometimes I even find it in biomes with flying creatures, which can make the process faster if I am lucky.
The structure I look for resembles two Minecraft style houses placed next to each other. These houses have visible windows and contain multiple boxes inside.
This structure is important because it contains almost everything I need to start crafting Golden Items.
Collecting Glass Shards and Mercury
Once I enter the structure, I begin breaking the windows. Breaking the windows gives me Glass Shards.
After that, I start breaking the boxes inside the buildings. Many of these boxes contain Mercury. Since there are a lot of boxes in the structure, finding Mercury usually does not take long.
At this point I normally collect several units of Mercury along with at least one Glass Shard.
Creating and Using the Mercury Capsule
After collecting the materials, I combine Mercury with a Glass Shard. This creates a Mercury Capsule.
To use it, I throw the capsule on the ground with the right mouse button. When it lands, a Mercury Slime appears.
I defeat the Mercury Slime, and when it dies it drops more Mercury and Goo. These materials are essential for the next crafting step.
Crafting the Scythe
Once I obtain Goo from the Mercury Slime, I combine Goo with my Gyro Hook.
This crafting recipe creates a Scythe.
The Scythe is the key component that allows me to start upgrading tools into their Golden variants.
Creating Golden Weapons and Items
After crafting the Scythe, I can combine it with other tools and weapons to obtain their stronger versions.
For example, when I combine a Scythe with a Rapier, the result is Methuselah.
Using this method, I can continue experimenting with other tools and combinations to unlock additional Golden Items in Lucid Blocks.
