In this guide, I cover every known cassette tape location across the game’s levels, along with the steps needed to access hidden rooms and secret areas so you can complete your collection and achieve full completion.
Crime Scene Cleaner Secret Tape Locations
Cassette tapes are among the most important collectibles in Crime Scene Cleaner, often hidden behind secret rooms, environmental puzzles, locked areas, and optional objectives that many players can easily overlook. Some tapes can be picked up directly during a mission, while others require finding keys, unlocking hidden passages, draining pools, solving card-based puzzles, or discovering well-hidden secrets.

Bad Call
Secret 1 & Tape: Cieszyn’s Venice
In the center of the courtyard, on a box beneath the balcony, you’ll find the first key. Enter the building on the second floor and go into the corridor blocked by garbage. Punch the wooden boards to unlock the secret room. Head to the bathroom at the end of the room; the second key is there. In the deepest part of the courtyard, there’s an iron door. Open it, then go inside the botanical room and open the second door; the tape is there.
Secret 2 & Tape: Epitaph of a Good Friend
Punch the wooden boards to access the balcony of the dealer’s apartment. From here, lower the lift and carefully walk along the edge of the wall to the floor below the dealer’s apartment. The tape is on the shelf.
Tape: Schubert Sonata in D Major, D. 850, IV. Rondo
In the final room, look up and open the attic door where the blood is dripping. The tape is inside.
Secret 3
On the way to the dealer’s apartment, break the wooden boards blocking the window and carefully walk to the roof of the building to the left.
Trial By Blood
Tape: Kapushi Clouds
After leaving the men’s locker room, you’ll see a hidden door with a digital lock. When the line aligns with the numbers, click the corresponding number. The tape is on the desk.
Secret 1 & Tape: Out of the Hood
In the room with the digital lock, use two wrenches to tighten the screws on the water pipe. Activate the square mechanism above the pipe to drain the pool. Retrieve the M017 card from the bottom of the pool. The tape is in M017.
Secret 2 & Tape: Dvorak Quartet No. 10, I. Allegro Ma Non Troppo
Get the W024 card from the tanning room table. Use it to obtain the M034 card, then use the M034 card to get the VIP card. Tap the VIP card on the controller in the room with the digital lock to unlock a secret room beside the pool. The W018 card is on the coffee table. The tape is in the drawer under the painting.
Note: I’m unsure of the two exact secrets in this mission, but opening the VIP room and all lockers should reveal both.

On the shelf in the living room.
Tape: Hi, I’m Ready to Die
There is a secret room behind the painting in the living room. Turn on the switch to open a door on both the ground floor and the first floor. Access the one on the first floor. The tape is next to the bath on the floor.

Crime Scene Cleaner Short Circuit Secret
Tape: Holy Wota
On the first floor, second room to the right, where a male was shot. The tape is on the bookshelf.
Tape: Girampa Girampase
Visit every room, then return to where the first tape was found. The new tape will appear.
Secret 1
In the first-floor hallway, interact with the second tilted sconce on the left. A secret room will open behind the boxes.
Secret 2
In the living room, next to the fridge, there is a tiny door.
Locations of hidden speakers:
- Ground floor entrance, to the left behind a chair.
- Hallway, behind the boxes.
- Room with the surveillance laptop, on the floor.
- First floor, end of the corridor room, in the locker.
- Living room, next to the desk under the window.
- Cat room, behind the alcohol bottles.
Italian Job
Tape: Prosciutto Core
On the drawer in the office.
Secret 1 & Tape: Swishi Swoop
In the kitchen drawer under the cards, take the key. In the office, under the dartboard, open the secret door on the floor that leads to the casino. The tape is on a drawer to the right.
Secret 2
In the back alley, the room at the end has some wooden boards you can break.
Secret 3 & Tape: Sonne und Hell
In the backyard, next to the dead waitress’s body, there is a brick wall you can climb over with a ladder (you can find one behind you or use one from the skill tree). The tape is on the DI box.
Affair with Death
Tape: Behind Headlines
This one is weird, I have it in my collection but I have no idea where did I get this. Have watched others’ playthrough video still no idea where this is from. Pls let me know if you find it.
Secret 1: the Drug Corner
From the basketball playground, go up the stairs and turn back. Following the edge to the corner. There are some pillows and drugs under the highest tree.

On the TV cabinet in the living room.
Secret 2: Money on Trolley
In the basement, there is a hidden door behind the pile of boxes.
Tape: Maranashi
On the drawer in the ground floor living room.

On the dressing table in the daughter’s room.
Secret 3: the Laundry Room
A key can be collected on the toilet on the first floor, to open the laundry room next to the bathroom in ground floor.
Friendly Fire
Tape: the End
On the kitchen shelf.

Inside the music room on the desk.
Secret 1: Ventilation Duct
Open the ventilation duct in the bathroom.
Secret 1: Book Wall Cabinet
Open the lower right cabinet under the book wall in the living room.
Party’s Over
Tape: Over Again
In the bathroom of the right-hand side cabin.
Tape: Voltage Resonance
On the TV table in the party house.
Secret 1: Break the Door
Walk into the little alley to the right of the right-hand side cabin (with a dead woman on a sofa in front of the door). You will see a wooden door at the end. Break it with your axe.
Secret 2: Behind the Bush & Tape: Lost for You
Between the constructing cabin and the pool, there is a hidden road behind the bush behind the yellow and black balloons. Go all the way inside you will find a place decorated for proposing. On the bench to the left there is a tape.

Tape: Kokko Kann
I found this tape on a table inside the red room.
Tape: Future Culture
This tape is located on the stage in the west wing cassette room.
Tape: Roma
I found this tape on the first floor in the north exhibition area, positioned in the middle of the hallway.
Secret 1: Behind the Monitors & Tape: Economy of Pain
When I entered the maze room through the bronze dinosaur entrance, I looked up and saw a mirror displaying a specific pattern. The same pattern can also be observed on the security monitors.
In the deepest corner of the maze, there is a collection of monitors. I switched the channels until the display matched the pattern shown in the mirror.
After solving the puzzle, I took the Katana and explored the newly opened area.
Before leaving, I picked up the Economy of Pain tape from the mannequin’s hand.
Secret 2: Secret Collection upon the Tapes
Inside the cassette room, I found several empty cassette cases next to the stage. By interacting with them, I climbed upward until I reached the yellow tape.
After collecting it, a nearby door opened and revealed a secret room.
Call in Dead
Secret 1: Gardener’s Underground Office
From the power supply room, I punched the vent located next to the switch and crawled all the way through to reach the hidden underground office.
Secret 2: TV Room & Tape: Up&Down
I found the TV Room key in the middle of a small room within the Hall Ground Floor area.
The TV Room itself is located in the power supply section and can be identified by the cardboard cut-out standing nearby.
Behind the curtain inside the room, I found the Up&Down tape.
Secret 3: The Developer’s Office
Inside the control room, I climbed onto the lockers and continued upward by following the ventilation duct.
At the end of the path, I jumped into the hidden Developer’s Office.
Secret 4: The Hidden Book
On the first floor hall, directly across from the control room sign, I went down toward the pile of boxes with a ladder.
After turning around and following the narrow path while crouching, I found a black book hidden away.
Secret 5: The Egyptian Room & Tape: Celestial Empire
At the top of the container lot, beneath the hanging dead worker, I entered a blue container.
Inside, I picked up a key from the table. This key unlocked a secret door located in the sorting room.
Inside the hidden room, I found the Celestial Empire tape.
Tape: Mozart Quartett No. 15, K 421, I. Allegro Moderato
I found this tape on a table inside the inner room of the second-floor office.
Tape: eine Woche eine Ende
In the container lot, I went to the blue container located beneath the “Cargo” sign.
The tape was sitting on the coffee table inside.
Final Evidence
Before finishing the level, I made sure to collect the final piece of evidence located inside the yellow container, which can be lifted using the crane.
