In this Psycho Sleuth walkthrough, I go through the investigations and trials in Chapters 1, 2, and 3, including the evidence I inspect, the answers I select, the statements I refute, and the clues I use in each case summary. I also cover the ranking achievements and the bad endings listed in this guide.
Note: This walkthrough is a work in progress and currently covers Chapters 1–3. I’ll continue updating it with the remaining chapters, trial solutions, and achievements as more information becomes available.
All Chapters 1-3, Trial Answers, Achievements & Endings
- I play each chapter in two parts: an investigation followed by a trial. Once I have reached a trial, chapter select lets me skip straight to it.
- My health can reach 2,000 and carries through a chapter’s setup and trial. Wrong answers in multiple-choice questions, refutations, case summaries, and other prompts cost health. Too many mistakes also hurt my rank and can cause a game over.
- During investigations, I click through the available objects and conversations. Pressing R activates perception and highlights hotspots.
- For Refutations, I choose the statement that conflicts with the evidence and present the relevant clue.
- For Truth Reconstruction, I arrange the pictured cards chronologically, working from left to right. Each slot has a question that corresponds to a card image, even though the cards have no text.
- I watch out for multiple-choice prompts that lead to unique bad endings. Some, but not all, count toward achievements.
Saving, Controls, and Pathosyncs
- The game autosaves after every couple of trial minigames and also supports manual saves. I recommend saving manually before and after each Judgement.
- When replaying, I use Control to skip and Space to skip scenes, except during case summaries.
- The menu contains clues, characters, Pathosyncs, and rules, with save and load options under System.
- In Chapter 2, I receive a list of 20 Pathosyncs, although there are only 13 participants, so several entries are unused.
- Some participants reveal their Pathosyncs openly, but that does not necessarily explain the entire ability. If someone hides theirs, I compare unusual behavior against the possible Pathosync list.
Chapter 1 – Investigation Walkthrough
After the opening scene, I begin my investigation in the cremation room. I make sure to inspect the items on both sides before moving on.
First Search of the Cremation Room
- Left side: I inspect the Unopenable Door, Light Switch, Dial, and Life Detector.
- Conversations: I speak with Kizuna, Lena, and the Proxy.
- Center: I examine the Sanctified Cremator.
- Right side: I check the Window, Sea Angel, Clock, and Bone Grinder.
Investigation After the Rules Explanation
Once the rules have been explained, I return to the right side and examine Hair (Possibly Lena’s), Kizuna’s Bloodstained Mask, and Bones on the Floor.
Final Evidence Checks
When the next clues become available, I recheck the Clock, the Proxy (Kizuna’s Past), and the Sanctified Cremator (Bones inside Cremator). I also inspect the updated Life Detector and the Impermeable Dial.
Chapter 1 – Trial Answers and Refutations
Trial Questions in Order
- Refutation – Hyper 1, Statement 3: “Besides the Proxy, you’re the only one here.” I present Life Detector (3), which shows that another person is present.
- What did the Life Detector show when we entered? I choose 4.
- Is Hyper correct that there are two victims? I choose Incorrect. There is only enough ash for one body.
- What could turn the mask into a blunt weapon? I answer Ashes and bone fragments, packed into the mask like heavy objects inside a bag.
- Why does the Life Detector currently show 3? I choose Someone is still alive and hidden in the room.
- Present in Scene: Where is the killer hiding? I select the Sanctified Cremator, the only space large enough to conceal a person.
- Refutation – Hyper 2, Statement 3: “No one could hide in heat like that.” I present Six Hours Unconscious. Enough time has passed for the cremator to cool down.
- Bad Ending Choice: Turn on the Cremator or see who the killer is? To view this chapter’s bad ending, I choose Turn On the Cremator. To continue the trial, I choose See Who the Killer Is.
- Refutation – Hyper 3, Statement 1: “The victim was burned to death.” I present Bloodstained Knife. The knife’s blood must have come from the victim’s wounds, since we have no injuries.
- Present in Scene: Where is the killer hiding? I select the Sanctified Cremator again, specifically the hollow space underneath the plate.
- Present in Scene: What proves Lena did not use the knife? I click Lena’s clothes/body. There is no blood on her clothing.
- Why did the killer need the cremator to destroy bloody evidence? I choose Wear the victim’s clothes, then burn the clothing.
- Refutation – Hyper 4, Statement 1: “Besides you and Lena, there’s no one in this room.” I present Life Detector (3) again.
- Present in Scene: Which three things changed? I point to the Dial, Life Detector, and Clock.
- What is missing? I answer The Left Side.
- Who is affecting us? I select Kizuna.
- What proves Kizuna’s Pathosync? I present Kizuna’s Past, which describes her hemispatial neglect.
- Refutation – Kizuna 1, Statement 3: “You have no proof I touched anything.” I present Bones on Scene, which were found only on the right half.
- What proves Kizuna could not commit the murder? I choose The Dial Switch, because the control needed to activate it is on the left.
- Who activated the Sanctified Cremator? I answer Lena.
Chapter 1 Case Summary
I fill the specified slides with these images, keeping the events in their correct sequence.
- Slide II – Why did Lena have to obey Kizuna? I use the image showing Lyle taken hostage.
- Slide IV – Where were the bloodstained clothes put? I select the corpse and clothes inside the Cremator.
- Slide VI – What did Lena carve? I choose “I’m the culprit.”
- Slide VII – What else did Kizuna prepare? I use the image showing the staged knife, corpse, and mask.
- Slide VIII – Who activated the Pathosync? I select Kizuna activating her Pathosync, shown by her red hand.
Final Chapter 1 Refutation
Kizuna 2, Statement 4: “Just now, while you were unconscious.” I present Testimony of Kizuna, because she claims she was unconscious for as long as we were.
Chapter 2 – Investigation Walkthrough
Introductions and Opening Choices
The Proxy adds the Pathosync page to my menu. Starting from left to right, I introduce myself and exhaust every conversation topic with Silas, Eirys, Dada, Raze, Hyper, Fayse, Alice, Elian, and Believer.
After Cotari’s introduction and the following scene, I answer two questions:
- Based on Fayse’s statement, what is her likely role? There is no correct answer here, so I pick any option.
- How can I best protect Lena? I choose Reveal I’m a Hero.
Chamber of Offering – First Visit
I inspect the Offering Chamber Door, USB Drive, Luke Photo, Outfit, Bank Knife, Crumpled Note, Feather, Treasure Chest, and Sea Angel Tank. I also speak to Eirys, Believer, and Fayse, completing all three of their conversation topics.
Eirys’s third topic includes a question about a manipulative Pathosync. I answer Alice, because she is a famous actress.
Dining Hall, Lounge, and Outside the Infirmary
After the next scene, I visit the Dining Hall, Lounge, and Outside of Infirmary. Once I have checked all three locations, the story continues.
- Present in Scene: Which three details are suspicious in the photograph? I point out the bite mark on the breast, face, or scalp; the Murder Mark in blood; and the blood-written text beneath the mark.
- When could the dismemberer enter the infirmary? I choose During Limb Severance activation.
Infirmary – First Visit
I examine the Infirmary Door, Wire Saw on the bed, Murder Marking, Clock, Sea Angel Box, and Proxy.
- How did the Dismemberer disappear from the room? I choose Hidden in the Room, blended in when we entered. Everyone had been accounted for, so the culprit could not have left.
- Who is the prime suspect? There is no correct answer to this question, so I choose any option.
Chamber of Offerings – Second Visit
On my return, I check the Door, Small Window, Cotari (her Murder Marking, stumps, Alabaster Box, and the mark at the bottom of the box), Alabaster Box Lid, Severed Limbs, Believer, Clock, and Sea Angel. I also note that the vibration blade is missing, even though that is not an investigation hotspot.
Infirmary – Second Visit
I check Believer, Blood on the Floor, Cotari (her leg, hand, and Murder Marking), Bandages, Clock, and the Sea Angel Box.
What is missing from the room? I answer The Lower Legs.
Chamber of Offerings – Third Visit
I inspect the Door, Elian, Silas, Alabaster Box, Pattern Made of Severed Limbs, Believer, Eirys, Clock, and Sea Angel.
Infirmary – Third Visit
I finish this part of the investigation by checking Cotari (Nano Knife and Murder Message), the Clock, and Dada.
Chapter 2 – Trial Answers and Refutations
Opening Trial Questions
- Refutation – Hyper 1, Statement 3: “You opened the locked door.” I present Infirmary Key, which Alice was holding.
- How does the case begin? I select A Believer’s limbs being severed by the Dismemberer.
- Refutation – Everyone 1, Hyper’s Statement 6: “They used a nano-blade to sever the limbs.” I present Wire Saw, because the wounds match a wire saw.
- What is strange about using a wire saw? I answer There was not enough time to commit the crime. A nano-blade is instant, while sawing by hand would take several minutes.
- Refutation – Raze 1, Statement 8: “Cut off her own legs.” I present Cause of Believer’s Death. She had already lost her hands.
- Refutation – Eirys 1, Statement 5: “She actively interfered in the selection.” I present Logic Church’s Neutrality.
- Why are there so many Believers? I choose For participants to use.
- Refutation – Everyone 2, Elian’s Statement 3: “Everyone in the selection entered.” I present Dada’s Strange Behavior. She stepped outside at that time.
- Present in Scene: What is wrong with the window theory? I select the Window. The surrounding area is white, so using it should have left a bloodstain.
- What held Cotari’s hands down? I choose Alabaster Box Lid.
- What proves the Alabaster Box Lid was used? I choose Blood on the Alabaster Box Lid.
- Refutation – Everyone 2, Raze’s Statement 8: “You can’t plan murders around unpredictable things.” I present Writing on Alabaster Box. The instruction to enter the room at noon makes the timing predictable.
- Refutation – Hyper 2, Statement 3: “Then take [it] to the Chamber of Offerings.” I present Eirys’ Testimony, as she says no one entered that room.
- What triggers Dada’s episodes? I answer A strong smell of blood, present in both rooms.
- What proves Dada eats people? I choose Bite Marks.
- Refutation – Dada 1, Statement 3: “I think Cotari cut off her own legs.” I present Cotari’s Cause of Death. As with the Believer, Cotari did not have hands.
- Refutation – Everyone 3, Elian’s Statement 7: “Just grab some limbs and shove them in.” I present Proxy’s Testimony, confirming that the legs belonged to Cotari.
- Did Cotari have lower legs when we first entered the Infirmary? I answer No.
- Why was the Believer murdered first? I choose To establish the sequence “hands first, then legs.” The first death creates a misleading pattern that Cotari’s murder does not actually follow.
- How could we have seen Cotari with legs? I select Someone else’s legs were attached to Cotari.
- Refutation – Everyone 4, Alice’s Statement 9: “Given enough time, blood would seep through.” I present Cotari’s Bleeding Rate. She bleeds slowly enough that the blood would not show immediately.
- Present in Scene: What connected the lower legs? I choose the Bloody Bandages on the Floor. There were more bandages than her arms alone would require.
- Present Suspect: Who could have entered the Infirmary? I select Alice, the only person who had the key.
- Refutation – Alice 1, Statement 5: “Lyle was there the whole time.” I present Time Away from Room, because we stepped away for the Chamber of Offering scene.
- Refutation – Hyper 3, Statement 4: “Instruct a Believer to swap at the designated time.” I present Logic Church’s Neutrality. The proposal for a second box might be allowed, but swapping it during the murder plan would violate that rule.
Bad Ending and Dismemberer Deductions
- Bad Ending Choice: Accuse, declare innocent, or shift discussion? I can choose Accuse to see a bad end, but it does not award an achievement. I select Declare Innocent or Shift Discussion to continue.
- Did the Dismemberer have an accomplice? I answer They acted alone. Under the rules, anyone other than the Werewolf cannot kill an innocent, so there is no reason to assist.
- Refutation – Everyone 5, Raze’s Statement 8: “Eirys messed with the box.” I dispute this because Eirys is blind and could not have carefully rearranged the bloody objects.
- If there were no accomplices and the key was in Eirys’s voice-activated dog, what follows? I choose Once the room was sealed, no one could tamper inside. That directs attention to the earlier period, when Cotari was wheeled out after losing her hands.
- Present Suspect: Who is the Dismemberer? I select Raze. She handled the box when Cotari was discovered, looked inside, and threw it.
- Why did no one notice the hands had been swapped for legs? I choose Limb Severance altered everyone’s perception. The limbs appeared as indistinct masses of flesh.
- Refutation – Raze 2, Statement 1: “I have an alibi.” I present Location Map. Making drinks does not establish where Raze was at every moment or when she prepared them.
- Refutation – Everyone 6, Fayse’s Statement 12: “Only Cotari could have unwrapped them.” I present Cotari’s Cause of Death, because she had no arms or legs at the time.
- Point Out in Scene: Where did the Dismemberer hide? I select the Believer. The first murder also provided a Believer disguise.
- Who could have been the Dismemberer under these circumstances? I choose Anyone without an alibi while both rooms were guarded, because the culprit remained inside.
- Why were the severed limbs arranged like a Sea Angel? I select To mark where Cotari’s legs were. Since Limb Severance affects the killer too, the pattern helps identify the limbs; the legs are the last two on the right.
Chapter 2 Case Summary
For the case summary, I use these pictured events for the specified slides.
- Slide II – What did Raze see through? Dada eating flesh; Raze discovered her true nature through the blood.
- Slide IV – What idea was suggested? Hands, then legs, then the death message; I select the image with the knife, the death message, and Believers over the dead Believer.
- Slide V – Who was pushed inside? Raze pushing Cotari’s wheelchair.
- Slide VII – What did Raze prepare for the Chamber discovery? The Sea Angel limb pattern.
- Slide IX – What did Raze do in the confusion? Swapped the limbs inside the box.
- Slide X – What did Raze do before the rooms were sealed? Prepared the drinks and put on the disguise.
- Slide XIII – What did we see when we first rushed into the Infirmary? Falling bandages and missing legs.
- Slide XIV – Who was left alone in the Infirmary? Raze about to stab Cotari.
- Slide XV – What did Raze do to Cotari? Stabbed her; I select the image with the knife in Cotari’s chest.
Final Chapter 2 Choice
At the last decision, I choose Agree. Choosing Disagree leads to the same bad ending as declaring Alice guilty. Afterward, I can read one person’s letter; this choice has no effect.
Chapter 3 – Investigation Walkthrough
Opening Decisions and Lounge Conversations
- Why is it a problem that the Proxy does not announce Werewolf kills? I answer We cannot tell whether the Werewolf killed them.
- Should I use the Seer power now or later? The choice has no effect. Lyle insists on using it.
- Should Fayse take the lead? Either response has no effect, since Lyle allows her to lead.
In the Lounge, I talk to everyone and go through every available topic.
- Silas’s third topic: Why does the Hierarch not fear being killed? I answer Their death would not stop the selection.
- Fayse’s second topic: Who could theoretically be her father? I choose Silas, the only participant old enough.
- Hyper’s first topic: How could the Hierarch have died in a previous round and still be alive? I answer They faked their death.
Outside the Hierarch’s Room and Inside the Room
Outside the Hierarch’s Room, I examine any door and the Proxy. Inside, I check Lena, Dada, Hanging Clothes Replicas, Fayse, the Bust behind Fayse, the Sea Angel Crown (by angling the camera up), Believer, and Proxy.
- Should we investigate? This decision has no effect; Lyle vetoes it.
- Why can Fayse not sleep? I select Because she is about to die.
- Can Dada fit through a window narrower than her body? I answer No.
- Why did Alice suddenly shrink? I answer Pathosync.
- Could a Pathosync-warped knife cut flesh 30 cm away? I answer No.
- What if the knife were thrust toward the target? I answer Yes.
Art Room and Archive – First Visits
The game offers the Art Room or the Archive first. I visit both locations during the investigation.
In the Art Room, I inspect the Door, Believer, Art on the Back Wall, Sea Angel Lantern, Suspended Paintings, Saw Handle, and Plaster Barrels.
- Back Wall Art: Why does Fayse feel dizzy? I choose There are faces everywhere in the room.
- Why does the Hierarch look different in every self-portrait? I select The Hierarch can change their appearance.
In the Archive, I check the Door, Believer, Terminal, Fayse, ???/X Locker, Kizuna’s Locker, and Lena. After I have visited both rooms, several scenes play.
Art Studio – Second Visit
I inspect Lena, Alice, Hyper, Eirys, Back Wall Paintings, Suspended Paintings, Body, Bloody Statue Gouges, Burnt Plaster Bucket, Syringe on the central floor, Proxy, and Fayse.
- Hyper: If Silas has died, who could the killer be? I answer Everyone except Eirys.
- Back Wall Paintings: Who would feel ill from the portraits? I choose Fayse.
- Body: Why was the head burned? I select To make the victim unidentifiable.
- What is wrong with Alice’s theory about deactivating the cutting machine and using the remote? I choose The cutting machine returns to its default position whenever it is deactivated.
- Where could Silas have hidden inside the Art Studio? I answer Hanging upside down on the statue, which would make him the supposed victim.
- Whose ability is Face Erasure? I choose Fayse.
- Bad Ending Choice: Call for a trial or delay? Calling a trial now causes a bad ending. I choose Delay to keep investigating. Under the rules, a Werewolf wins immediately if a trial begins before a death.
Archive – Second and Third Visits
On my second visit to the Archive, I only need the Terminal, although Raze’s and Cotari’s Lockers contain additional backstory.
- Which role is Silas not? I choose Werewolf. There is one Werewolf per round, and Fayse’s role is already established.
- Should Fayse be confined? The choice has no effect; she vetoes it.
On my third visit, I inspect the three broken Lockers and the Memory Chip.
Hierarch’s Room – Second Visit
I inspect the Doors using the hotspot on the left, the center of the Portrait Wall, Eirys, and the Proxy.
- Who is most likely the charred corpse? I answer Silas.
- Bad Ending Choice: Should Fayse be allowed to leave? I choose Yes to continue; No causes a game over.
- What triggers the Hierarch’s Room death trap? I choose Someone dying inside.
Art Room – Third Visit and Silas’s Bedroom
I return to the Art Room and examine the Charred Head, Broken Skylight, Sea Angel Marking, Body, Fragments in Front of the Statue, Breathing Apparatus, and Fayse.
Finally, in Silas’s Bedroom, I examine the Letter and Memory Chip.
Chapter 3 – Trial Answers and Refutations
Opening Refutations and the Art Studio Case
- Who is the victim this round? I choose Silas, the only participant not present.
- Refutation – Hyper 1, Statement 3: “He set out to kill the Werewolf.” I present Seer. The Seer is forbidden from killing the Werewolf.
- Refutation – Everyone 1, Hyper’s Statement 6: “Silas dragged everyone into the Art Studio.” I present Eirys’ Testimony, since she was not there.
- Refutation – Hyper 2, Statement 8: “[We] saw Fayse using the machine.” I present Fayse’s Testimony. She says the Phantom Hand Pathosync forced her to use it.
- Present on Scene: Where was Silas hiding? I select the Hanging Body. The next deduction explains how Silas could still be alive.
- What proves the Art Studio victim is not Silas? I choose Cause of Death. The Proxy says the participant victim died from burning.
- Refutation – Hyper 3, Statement 9: “We couldn’t tell it was burned beyond recognition due to Face Erasure.” I present Face Erasure. Fayse’s ability requires something to be recognized as a face, which would not apply to an entirely unrecognizable head.
- What part of the Art Studio case could Silas not have done by himself? I select Face Erasure, because he had no way to force Fayse to use it.
- Refutation – Everyone 2, Fayse’s Statement 7: “We all clearly saw.” I present Lena’s Testimony. Face Erasure was active, so the person in Fayse’s clothes may not have been Fayse.
- Who was the Art Studio Fayse if the real Fayse was in the Hierarch’s Room? I select A Believer wearing Fayse’s clothes.
- Why does Fayse remember the killing if she was not there for the scene we saw? I choose The same murder was staged multiple times. Face Erasure allows different performers to reenact it.
- Point Out on Scene: Which three people are inconsistent with that memory? I select Alice, Elian, and Hyper. They do not recall the murder despite appearing in our version of the event.
- Refutation – Dada 1, Statement 1: “There’s no evidence of three decapitations.” I present Three Gouges, which show three saw cuts near the decapitation point.
- Refutation – Everyone 3, Alice’s Statement 3: “He wouldn’t have to enter the room in the first place.” I present Other’s Hand. The ability requires line of sight, so Silas needed to be in the Art Studio to control Fayse during the reenactment.
- Refutation – Dada 2, Statement 2: “Anyone could see down from the Hierarch’s Room.” I present Art Studio Location (1/4). The floating island above the statue blocks the view of the cutting point.
- Point Out on Scene: Where was Silas concealed? I select behind Elian, in the Face Erasure static.
- What proves the portraits were used for this effect? I choose Paintings on the Floor.
- Refutation – Hyper 4, Statement 9: “Anyone other than Eirys or Fayse could have done it.” I present Fayse’s Testimony. She claims Other’s Hand was controlling her, making Silas part of the event.
- Who is the other Silas? I choose Silas’s Left Hand, the hand that provides the best possible answer.
- Choose Person: Who helped Silas and could impersonate the Proxy? I choose Alice, who can shapeshift. This also explains the Memory Chip Silas possessed.
- What proves that someone among the participants can shapeshift? I tentatively choose Raze, since someone would need to reproduce her appearance perfectly. This answer remains uncertain.
- What proves Alice helped Silas? I choose The Archive Room Explosion. Alice was guarding it when it exploded, pointing to her cooperation.
- Refutation – Hyper 5, Statement 1: “The death trap was probably a bomb.” I present Gas Canister. The flame was more limited and localized than an ordinary explosion.
- Present in Scene: What shows Silas was not burned beyond recognition inside the Hierarch’s Room? I select the Central Circle of Portraits. A fire large enough to char him would also have burned the paper portraits.
- If Alice did not help and the body was moved after burning, what follows? I answer Someone killed Silas. A third party must have been involved in his death.
Later Trial Questions and Refutations
- Refutation – Hyper 6, Dada’s Statement 2: “When everyone was in the room.” I present Fayse’s Discomfort, because Fayse went outside with Alice.
- Refutation – Hyper 7, Statement 4: “After the door opened.” I present The Closed Door. We deliberately locked the Art Studio door.
- Present in Scene: Why could Fayse not carry the body to the center of the Hierarch’s Room? I select the Wall of Portraits, which makes her too unwell to function normally inside.
- What was Silas trying to learn from the decapitation incident? I answer Who the Werewolf is. He suspected Fayse and wanted confirmation.
- Present Person: Who is the Werewolf? I select Fayse.
- What would Silas do to save Fayse? I choose Make Fayse kill someone without knowing it, so she could survive the round despite refusing to kill.
- Refutation – Lena, Statement 14: “How could someone burn to death in a room full of water?” I present Special Plaster, which releases extreme heat on contact with water.
- Select Person: Who killed Silas? I select Fayse. By opening the skylight and flooding the room, she activated the plaster.
- Who put the Breathing Apparatus on Fayse? I choose Silas, the only other person in the room.
- Why did having no Werewolf preparation matter so little to Silas? I answer He had Other’s Hand and could already control other people.
- Refutation – Alice 1, Statement 9: “How could he have known when to activate the trap?” I present Wires. When Fayse and Alice left, the door wires were pulled tight, giving Silas a visible signal.
- What did Silas do before hiding? I choose Completely disfigured his own face. Since Fayse could not use Face Erasure on burned faces, she would not notice him in the usual way.
Chapter 3 Truth Reconstruction
I place the following cards in their numbered slots. I follow the story chronologically from left to right.
- Slide II – Where did Fayse wait for the Hierarch? Fayse alone in the Hierarch’s Room above the Art Studio.
- Slide III – What did Silas reveal to stun everyone? Silas claiming he is the Hierarch, shown choking everyone.
- Slide VI – How did Silas hide himself? Silas covered in portraits.
- Slide VII – What did Lyle see on opening his eyes? The staged decapitation before Lyle was tranquilized.
- Slide X – What did Lyle do when Fayse came under suspicion? Locked Fayse in the Art Studio, shown at the console and then alone behind the door.
- Slide XII – With whom did Silas make a deal? Alice.
- Slide XIV – What did Silas do to his face? Burned it off.
- Slide XVI – Who became ill from the paintings? Fayse surrounded by portraits, with Alice.
- Slide XVIII – What burned Silas alive? The flood activating the plaster powder.
- Slide XIX – What did Silas do for Fayse at the end? Put the Breathing Apparatus on her.
Final Chapter 3 Refutation
Alice 2, Statement 8: “How could anyone time that perfectly?” I present Other’s Hand. Silas’s left hand moves independently and can perform exactly what he wants.
Achievements and Bad Endings (Work in Progress)
Chapter Ranking Achievements
I only see my final chapter rank at the end of the chapter’s results screen. In Chapter 2, for example, that screen appears about ten minutes after the execution. My rank falls as I make more mistakes: I finished with a B rank after 16 mistakes and an A rank after 12 mistakes. I have not established the exact rank thresholds.
It is also unclear whether the achievements require all five chapters to have high ranks in a single save or whether replaying a chapter can update its recorded grade. Until that is confirmed, I aim for an S rank on my first playthrough.
- Armchair Detective: Earn a B rank or higher in every chapter.
- Great Detective: Earn an A rank or higher in every chapter.
- God of Deduction: Earn an S rank or higher in every chapter.
Bad Ending Achievements
- The Death of Lena: In Chapter 1 – Trial, after Hyper 2, I choose Turn On the Cremator.
- The Paradox Endures: In Chapter 3 – Investigation, after the second Art Room scene, I choose to call for a trial early.
