In this Vampy’s Big Day guide, I cover all 16 gnome locations across Levels 1–6. Some gnomes are easy to spot, while others are hidden behind secret passages, shadowed walls, or darker patches of grass.
All Secret Gnome Locations (Levels 1-6)
Below, I explain where to find every gnome in Vampy’s Big Day, following the order of the levels. I’ve included a screenshot for each location to help identify the hidden paths and exact spots.

Level 1 Gnome Location
Gnome 1 – Village Near the First Guard
In the large, open village area where I encounter the first guard, I head down and to the left. The gnome is out in the open, so there’s no hidden passage to look for here.
Level 2 Gnome Locations
Gnome 1 – Hidden Path in the First Room
Starting from Barnaby, I enter the first room on the left and walk straight up. There’s a hidden passage along the left side that leads to the first gnome in Level 2.
Gnome 2 – Shadow Along the Wall
I follow the left route from Barnaby until I reach the final room along that path. I look for a small shadow on the wall, which marks the entrance to a hidden passage containing the second gnome.
Gnome 3 – Hidden Passage After the River
From Barnaby, I travel right and then down. After passing the river, I enter the next room and check the right side for a small shadow. This shadow indicates another hidden passage leading to the third gnome.
Gnome 4 – Around the Small Lake
I enter the room with the rope to the right of Barnaby. From there, I head upward and follow the route around the small lake to reach the fourth gnome.
Gnome 5 – Hidden Path After Barnaby’s Key
After Barnaby gives me the key, I open the door and move up and to the right. I look for an indentation in the wall, where a secret passage leads to the fifth gnome.
Important for the evil route: I make sure not to kill Barnaby before collecting this gnome because doing so immediately ends the level. If I accidentally complete the level or kill Barnaby, I can use Alt+F4 on the results screen to return and collect the gnome.
Level 3 Gnome Locations
Gnome 1 – Dark Grass While Following the Spy
In the room where I follow the spy, I head toward the bottom-left corner. There’s a small indentation in the wall surrounded by darker grass. This is the entrance to a hidden path where I find the first gnome.
Gnome 2 – Hushroom Above the Last Grub
In the river room filled with hushrooms, I look above the last grub for another hushroom. This one leads to the second gnome. I find it easier to locate the hushroom by biting, since biting produces the most sound.
If I accidentally wake up a grub while following the pacifist route, I stand completely still until it falls asleep again. The grubs are blind and rely on sound to detect my position.
Gnome 3 – Below the Mushrooms Near the Silver Key
When I reach the room containing the silver key, I move straight down beneath all the mushrooms. Following this direction takes me directly to the third gnome.
Level 4 Gnome Locations
Gnome 1 – After Helping Glurk Cross the River
After helping Glurk get across the river, I continue upward and to the right. The first gnome is located in the corner of this area.
Gnome 2 – Behind the Box in the Helmet Room
Inside the room with the helmet, I find the marked box and move it out of the way by pushing or pulling it. The second gnome is concealed directly behind this box.
Gnome 3 – Dark Grass in the Gold Key Room
In the room that requires a gold key to enter, I check the bottom edge for a patch of dark grass. This marks the entrance to a hidden passage leading to the third gnome.
I can also reach this gnome on the good route when Thora reveals the secret path leading upward in the room to the left of the Hollowseed room.
Gnome 4 – Upper-Left Bush Near the Hollowseed
I enter the room immediately to the left of the Hollowseed room and inspect the bush in the upper-left corner. The fourth gnome is hidden inside it.
Level 5 Gnome Location
Gnome 1 – Left of the Ram Cave
Before I enter the cave with the ram, I head left toward the room transition. Once I pass into the next area, I find the gnome on the other side.
Level 6 Gnome Locations
Gnome 1 – Before Reaching Glurk
Just before entering the room with Glurk, I take the path to the right. The first gnome is out in the open, making it easy to collect.
Gnome 2 – Hidden Path at the Start of the Maze
At the beginning of the maze, I head downward and then turn left. I look for an indentation in the wall, which reveals a hidden passage leading to the second and final gnome in Level 6.
