We Were Here Tomorrow: All Puzzle Piece Locations

In We Were Here Tomorrow, I can find 12 hidden jigsaw puzzle pieces scattered across different rooms. These pieces belong to the unfinished puzzle in the Common Room. In this guide, I’ll show where I found every piece, from the Common Room and Research & Development area to the Prototype Room and the balcony.

All 12 Puzzle Piece Locations

I collected all 12 puzzle pieces by checking tables, cabinets, laboratory equipment, and a few less obvious spots. Below, I’ve organized their locations in the order I found them, so I can follow the same route without missing any pieces.

Common Room – Puzzle Pieces 1-4

Puzzle Pieces #1, #2, and #3

I found the first three puzzle pieces in the Common Room, which I also call the Hub. They’re easy to spot because all three are lying underneath the small table with the unfinished jigsaw puzzle on top.

Puzzle Piece 4

I stayed in the Common Room for the fourth piece. This time, I checked the dining table with the cakes on it. The puzzle piece is sitting beside the test tubes and a notepad.

Research & Development – Puzzle Pieces 5-6

Puzzle Piece 5

For the fifth piece, I went to the Research & Development area. This is the two-story room with two keycard slots, which eventually leads to the Prototype Room.

Instead of going upstairs, I searched the space underneath the second floor. I found puzzle piece #5 on the laboratory counter to the right of the entrance.

Puzzle Piece 6

I found the next piece in the same Research & Development room. After reaching the second floor, I checked the small cabinet immediately to the left of the stairs. Puzzle piece #6 is inside it.

Prototype Room – Puzzle Pieces 7-8

Puzzle Piece 7

In the Prototype Room, I found puzzle piece #7 near the left ceiling fan. To reach it, I used the elevator to get onto the first platform, although it’s also possible to climb up using parkour.

I didn’t need to stop the fan to collect this piece. The player carrying the hook can grab it directly. Alternatively, the player using the cube can block the fan first, but this isn’t necessary.

Puzzle Piece 8

After finishing the Prototype tutorial, I entered the small room and pulled the lever together with my partner. Then I continued through the door.

Just beyond that door, I found puzzle piece #8 on the table to the right of the entrance.

Return to the Common Room – Puzzle Piece 9

Puzzle Piece 9

While heading back toward the Common Room, I found another piece. From the table where I collected piece #8, I went through the door on the left and climbed the stairs.

At the top, I came across several boxes. I looked for the box with a hard hat resting on it and found puzzle piece #9 right beside the hard hat.

Room Before the Funicular – Puzzle Piece 10

Puzzle Piece 10

Important: Before searching this room, I make sure not to pull the double-handled lever in the center. Activating it locks the door leading back to the Common Room (Hub), where the unfinished jigsaw puzzle is located.

To find puzzle piece #10, I climbed to the second floor using the route shown in the screenshot below.

Once upstairs, I looked to the left toward the locked Control Room. There’s a computer panel directly in front of it, and I found puzzle piece #10 resting on top of that panel.

Common Room Balcony – Puzzle Pieces 11-12

Puzzle Piece 11

After collecting piece #10, I stayed on the same floor and went through the door leading onto the Common Room balcony.

On the right side, I found a computer with a small cabinet to its left. I checked that cabinet and collected puzzle piece #11. I stayed on the balcony because the final piece was nearby.

Puzzle Piece 12

For the final puzzle piece, I remained on the Common Room balcony and turned to face the main room. Then I looked up toward the ceiling lights, where puzzle piece #12 is located.

The piece has already been collected in the screenshot below, but its exact position is marked so I can still identify where to look.

What Happens After Collecting All 12 Puzzle Pieces?

After finding all 12 pieces and completing the jigsaw puzzle, I don’t receive an achievement. However, there’s a small surprise left by the developers that longtime We Were Here fans may appreciate.

Even without an achievement to earn, the search took us around 9–10 hours. I hope these locations help you find every piece without spending nearly as much time looking for them.
