In this Transport Fever 3 vehicle list, I collect the vanilla vehicles by type and time period, including their available stats such as cost, running costs, top speed, power, capacity, cargo type, pollution, comfort, weight, and length where those values are available in the source list.
Vehicle List: All Vehicles & Stats
I use this guide as a single reference for the vanilla Transport Fever 3 vehicle roster. The list covers rail vehicles, trams, buses, trucks, aircraft, helicopters, ships, Deluxe Edition vehicles, and pre-order vehicles, while keeping unknown or unfinished values marked exactly as they appear in the source.
I created this list specifically for vanilla Transport Fever 3. I treat it as an ongoing personal reference, so some entries may still contain unfinished values or image placeholders while the list is being updated.
Table of Contents:
Vehicle List Changes from Transport Fever 2 to Transport Fever 3
I organize this Transport Fever 3 list differently from the Transport Fever 2 vehicle lists because the game changes cargo categories, pollution, comfort, trams, and vehicle maintenance.
- Cargo: I use the six main cargo categories—Universal, Liquid, Bulk, Flatbed, Goods, and Passengers—instead of listing all 37 cargo types individually. The source notes 37 cargo types across 32 industries.
- One vehicle list: I keep the vehicles in one list rather than splitting them into three vehicle-specific regions as in Transport Fever 2.
- Pollution: I treat pollution as a changing value rather than a single fixed figure, since the displayed pollution can rise and fall as a vehicle starts and stops.
- Passenger comfort: I include Comfort where it is shown. The source states that comfort affects passenger happiness and Reputation, but does not make passengers change routes.
- Helicopters: I keep passenger and cargo helicopters together under the Helicopters heading because some can serve both roles. Helicopters are available from 1950 onward.
- Tram types: I use Railcar for a tram that has capacity and can move by itself, Locomotive for a powered unit with no capacity that can pull wagons, and Rolling Stock (Wagons) for units with capacity that require a locomotive.
- Reversing: Vehicles with two arrows facing opposite directions can reverse rather than simply flip as in Transport Fever 2. I do not add this as a separate stat for every vehicle.
- Light Rail: Tram rolling stock can include passenger and cargo wagons. Some trams are also marked as Light Rail and can run onto train tracks; I keep that Light Rail note with the tram name when it appears.
- Lifespan: I do not rely on the old fixed lifespan system from the Transport Fever 2 lists. The source notes that maintenance changes can allow vehicles to last indefinitely, and vehicles already on a line can still be kept or cloned after their end date.
- Start year: I organize the main chronology from 1900 because that is the Transport Fever 3 start year, even when an early vehicle itself has an availability date before 1900.
