In The Life and Suffering of Prince Jerian, reaching the best Reformer ending requires me to follow a consistent political path across all five chapters. My decisions must strengthen Progress, Equality, and the Rule of Law while protecting the people, managing House Tempest, and preparing Jerian’s Creed for the final Senate vote.
Walkthrough: Endings & Achievements
In this guide, I cover two complete Reformer paths. The first is a detailed Tempest unity route in which I marry Lucretia, preserve the family, establish Jerian’s Creed, and achieve Triumph. The second is an alternative peaceful Reformer route that focuses on saving Jerian’s allies and resolving the final rebellion through negotiation.
Table of Contents
Warning: This walkthrough contains major spoilers for every chapter, relationship path, achievement, and ending.
Main Route: Tempest Unity and Lucretia Ending
On this route, I role-play Jerian as a consistent reformer who values knowledge, family unity, compassion, and political stability. I avoid changing his personality simply to unlock individual options, and I only sacrifice part of his sanity when he becomes an Arkn.

In the first chapter, I develop Jerian’s education, strengthen his connection with Cornelius and Ferdinand, and prepare him to resist the River of Blood.

After I present the Creed, the Old Faith rises against Jerian, but the combined strength of the serving nobility, human nobles, followers of the New Faith, and commoners defeats the uprising. Progress, charity, justice, and secular law become dominant throughout the Empire, while noble privileges and selected Arkn traditions remain intact.
House Tempest remains united. Jerian is eventually elected Emperor, Guy marries Camilla and becomes Great Chancellor, and Lucretia gives birth to a son and a daughter. Jerian reaches maturity with his mind largely intact and rules during a new era of order and justice.

How I Unlock the Reformer Achievement
To unlock the Reformer achievement, I need at least 8 Progress, 8 Equality, and 8 Rule of Law.
When I replay Chapter V to increase the required values, I use these choices:
- I travel to Constantia and allow Marcianism.
- During The Color of the Nation, I meet the rebels and condemn Lucullus.
- During A Spark in the Darkness, I condemn the rebels to increase the Rule of Law.
- During The Rise of Law, I create the unified Code of Sin.
- I invite Cornelius back to the Council during Governor of Constantia.
Inviting Cornelius back to the Council provides his related achievement, but this variation is more likely to produce a victory involving greater bloodshed.
Alternative Romance Endings
The Reformer walkthrough also gives me several chapter replay points for Lucretia, Agatha, and Camilla.
Lucretia Endings
I replay from Chapter V and avenge Lucretia.
- Lucretia as Empress: Co-Rulers.
- Lucretia as Mother: Continuation of the Bloodline.
Agatha Endings
I replay from Chapter IV and choose Agatha near the end of the chapter.
- Agatha as Beloved: Miracle of Love with the Home ending.
- Agatha as Mentor: Wrath of the Younger with the Foot ending and Embrace of Love with the Summit ending.
- Agatha as Chosen One: Misalliance and Second Coming during Come and See.
- Agatha as Prophet: To Love This World during Beloved Student.
Camilla Endings
I replay from Chapter II and continue along Camilla’s relationship path.
- Camilla as Companion: Homewrecker.
- Camilla’s Lesson of Freedom: Broken Chains. This requires Will 8 or a sacrifice of Sanity.
- Camilla as a Slave of Blood: Slave of Blood.
How I Unlock Untouchable Vassals
To unlock Untouchable Vassals, I follow the alternative Martha and Emil storyline.
- In Chapter II, I make Emil my Favorite during Birth of a Knight.
- In Chapter III, I make Martha a Libertine during Manor of Mischief.
- In Chapter IV, I turn Emil and Martha into Libertines.
- In Chapter V, I protect Emil and Martha and make them Untouchable.
The Tempest unity route gives me a detailed, stat-focused path toward Jerian’s Creed, Triumph, marriage to Lucretia, continuation of the bloodline, and a powerful House Tempest. The peaceful alternative allows me to protect more of Jerian’s childhood allies, negotiate with the final rebels, sever the River of Blood directly, and still win the Senate with the Reformer ending.
