Funnel Runners Achievements and Unlockables

In this Funnel Runners achievement guide, I explain how I unlock every basic, weather-related, co-op, and miscellaneous achievement. I also cover the unlockable uniforms and the unfinished Apex Bunker.

All Achievements & Uniforms

This guide includes the requirements and methods I use to complete the achievements in Funnel Runners.

Note: At the time I prepared this guide on July 21, 2026, some achievements were still bugged. I mention the affected achievements in their relevant sections.

Basic Achievements

I start with the basic achievements that I can earn through repairs, exploration, collecting items, and escaping from the city.

Tire-d

To unlock Tire-d, I change four flat tires on the van.

I can find the repair instructions inside the van. I follow the displayed steps and complete the tire repair minigame correctly.

First Day Star

I unlock First Day Star by successfully completing a repair minigame for the first time.

First Day Fail

I unlock First Day Fail by failing a repair minigame for the first time.

Worst Mechanic

To unlock Worst Mechanic, I fail repair minigames 15 times.

Repairing objects and removing wooden planks with a crowbar use timing-based skill checks. I deliberately hit or miss these checks depending on which achievement I am trying to complete. These achievements can also unlock naturally while I play.

Not This Time

I unlock Not This Time by failing to escape from the city for the first time. I only need to die before completing the escape.

Lone Wolf

To unlock Lone Wolf, I escape from the final tornado while I am the only player remaining.

I repair the van and leave the city before the final F5 tornado reaches me. To be safe, I can wait until the final tornado begins before escaping, although this may not be required.

When the tornado is approximately 0.3 to 0.4 kilometers away, I hear a loud warning siren. I make sure the van is ready and leave before the tornado reaches the city.

I can complete this in single-player. In multiplayer, I can host a lobby, let the other players repair the van, remove them from the lobby, and then escape as the only remaining player.

First Escape!

I unlock First Escape! by repairing the van and escaping before the final F5 tornado reaches the city.

I can avoid normal tornadoes by crouching behind a tree, beside the van, or inside a building that still has a roof. Any solid surface large enough to block the tornado can prevent me from being pulled in.

If a tornado damages the building I am hiding in, I may still be knocked down and take damage. The same can happen inside the van, even when the door is closed. I find the driver’s seat to be the safest position inside the vehicle.

If the tornado removes the roof above me, it may pull me completely out of the building and kill me.

Walker I

I unlock Walker I after walking a total of 10 kilometers.

Walker II

I unlock Walker II after walking a total of 50 kilometers.

Walker III

I unlock Walker III after walking a total of 100 kilometers.

I complete all three Walker achievements by continuing to walk and run around the city. They unlock naturally after I play for long enough.

Little Treat

I unlock Little Treat by purchasing an item from the vending machine for the first time.

Big Spender

I unlock Big Spender after spending a total of 100 Tokens at the vending machine.

Big Spender II

I unlock Big Spender II after spending a total of 500 Tokens at the vending machine.

Big Spender III

I unlock Big Spender III after spending a total of 1,000 Tokens at the vending machine.

The vending machine is located inside the van. I use Apex Tokens found around the city to purchase items such as bandages and medkits.

The vending machine shuts down when the van’s battery is removed. Before replacing the battery, I make sure the spare battery is ready.

Bug note: These achievements may not track correctly for players who are not the host. I complete them in single-player or while hosting the lobby.

Scavenger I

I unlock Scavenger I after collecting 100 items found in the city.

Scavenger II

I unlock Scavenger II after collecting 250 items found in the city.

Scavenger III

I unlock Scavenger III after collecting 500 items found in the city.

While searching for the parts required to repair the van, I find many other objects such as health pills and bandages. To increase my progress quickly, I pick up every item I see and then drop anything I do not need.

Objective items such as tires also count as collected items. I am not certain whether Apex Tokens contribute to the achievement total.

Bug note: These achievements may not track correctly for players who are not the host. I complete them in single-player or while hosting the lobby.

Historian I

I unlock Historian I after collecting 10 information-related collectibles.

Historian II

I unlock Historian II after collecting 50 information-related collectibles.

Historian III

I unlock Historian III after collecting 100 information-related collectibles.

For these achievements, I search for Apex documents, tapes, and documents that resemble newspapers. After finding one, I place it inside the cardboard box in the van.

I do not need to escape from the city for the collectible to count. My progress increases as soon as I place a valid item inside the box.

These achievements require me to interact with tornadoes, lightning, fire, and other dangerous weather effects.

High Up

I unlock High Up by getting pulled into a tornado for the first time. This usually happens naturally while I play.

Electrified

I unlock Electrified by being struck by lightning for the first time.

This achievement depends heavily on luck. When a lightning storm begins, I remain outside and wait until lightning strikes me.

On Fire

I unlock On Fire by taking fire damage for the first time.

During thunderstorms, lightning can strike objects such as trees or trash cans and set them on fire. I stand close to a burning object until the flames spread to me and begin dealing damage.

Fire can also spread between players. When I am burning, nearby teammates may catch fire as well.

The Suck Zone

To unlock The Suck Zone, I throw a dart into a large tornado from close enough that the dart does not fall to the ground.

I take a dart from the cup near the dartboard inside the van and carry it with me. When I approach a large tornado and am close to being pulled in, I throw the dart directly into it.

It is possible to survive, but sacrificing the current run can make the achievement easier.

Mary Poppins

I unlock Mary Poppins by being pulled into a tornado while holding an umbrella.

I find an umbrella, hold it in my hands, and approach a tornado. Tornadoes can pull me in from a considerable distance while I am holding the umbrella.

Benjamin, Who?

To unlock Benjamin, Who?, I avoid lightning damage by holding a portable conductor when lightning strikes me.

This achievement is strongly dependent on luck. I carry the portable conductor throughout lightning storms and remain outside until I am eventually struck.

Co-op Achievements

I need at least one additional player to complete the achievements in this section.

Dead? Me?

I unlock Dead? Me? by being revived after passing out.

I let my character become incapacitated and ask another player to revive me with a defibrillator. There is a brief period before the death sequence begins when I can still be revived.

I can tell my teammates my coordinates to help them reach me. They can also view my position on the computer and radar inside the van.

Electric Friendship

I unlock Electric Friendship by using the defibrillator to shock another player.

Bulls Eye

I unlock Bulls Eye by hitting the center of the dartboard inside the van with a dart.

Tranquilizer

To unlock Tranquilizer, I hit other players with darts a total of 50 times.

I collect the darts inside the van and repeatedly throw them at another player until the achievement unlocks.

Porcupine

I unlock Porcupine by having 10 darts attached to my character at the same time.

I ask another player to throw darts at me continuously until the achievement appears. Darts can disappear fairly quickly, so two players can throw them at the same time if one player cannot attach all 10 fast enough.

Designated Driver

To unlock Designated Driver, I win a run without ever leaving the van.

I remain inside while another player collects the required parts and repairs the vehicle. I stay in the driver’s seat to reduce the risk of being pulled out by a tornado. Once the van is repaired, I drive away without stepping outside at any point.

Other Achievements

Energy Drunk

I unlock Energy Drunk by drinking five energy drinks within one minute.

I either collect five energy drinks while searching the city or use Apex Tokens to purchase them from the vending machine. Once I have all five, I drink them one after another within the time limit.

Up Here!

I unlock Up Here! by climbing onto the roof of the van for the first time.

I stand in front of the van, jump, and open the hood. I then jump onto the hood and use it to reach the roof.

If the achievement does not unlock immediately, I move around on top of the van, especially near the front above the engine.

Protocol Nerd

Protocol Nerd requires me to trigger every protocol information message, which means activating every tutorial pop-up in the game.

Bug note: According to the developers, this achievement was broken when this guide was prepared and could not be unlocked. The developers also mentioned that they intended to publish a guide explaining its requirements.

Unlockable Uniforms

Funnel Runners includes several uniforms that provide different bonuses. Some are available immediately, while others require me to complete specific actions.

The Field Operative

  • Bonus: Increases my movement speed by 10%
  • Unlock requirement: Unlocked by default

The First Ember

  • Bonus: Reduces fire damage taken by 50%
  • Bonus: Prevents me from spreading fire to nearby teammates
  • Unlock requirement: Remain on fire for a total of 10 minutes

This uniform takes a long time to unlock. I first need a thunderstorm to occur, and then I need lightning to ignite an object that can set me on fire.

I also need enough healing items to restore the health I lose while burning. Alternatively, another player can repeatedly revive me with a defibrillator after I become incapacitated.

I remain careful when another player is nearby because my burning character can spread the fire to them.

The uniform only provides protection against fire. It does not reduce damage from acid rain.

The Life Line

  • Bonus: Reduces the Defibrillator inventory requirement from three slots to two
  • Bonus: Highlights nearby dead bodies within a limited radius
  • Unlock requirement: Revive 25 players with the Defibrillator

The Lawkeeper

  • Bonus: Reduces the Crowbar inventory requirement from two slots to one
  • Bonus: Allows me to open blocked doors more quickly
  • Unlock requirement: Fully remove the wooden planks from locked doors 30 times

Apex Bunker

While exploring the city, I found an Apex Bunker door.

According to the developers, this bunker was still a work in progress when this guide was prepared. The door could not be opened.
