This Leaf it Alone 100% Achievement Walkthrough guide explains every unlockable step-by-step – from story progress to hidden achievements.
The game has 18 achievements. Five unlock automatically while progressing, the others can be missed if you do not follow certain steps.

I am speed – How to Unlock the Garage Achievement
To unlock the garage, clean the Court area to get the SHIFT sprint ability.
Go to the garage and press the button near the left door. The TV shows the door opening.
Hold the button until the door is fully open. The door will slowly close if you leave the button or after it reaches the top.
Sprint and jump to enter quickly. Once inside, the door stays open and the achievement unlocks. If you struggle to reach the door in time, clear areas that grant speed bonuses.
Frontyard increases move speed by 0.2 m/s.
Driveway increases move speed by 0.2 m/s.
Shed Happens – How to Unlock the Shed Area
Unlock the garage first. You can access the Basement through the garage. The backdoor does not need to be cleaned to open. The cellar hatch on the right is already open.
Cleaning the Basement to 50% adds +0.25x leaf value. Cleaning it 100% unlocks the Shed roof.
After 100% Basement completion, use the small fence gate on the right side of the shed to reach the roof.
Vacationist – How to Unlock the Grill Area
After the Shed is available, clean the Shed to 100% to unlock the Grill area. Cleaning 50% of the Shed grants +0.2 m/s move speed.
The Grill area is reachable through the big wooden fence between the Shed and the main house.
You can also see it from the Shed roof.
King of the Jungle – How to Unlock the Greenhouse Area
After reaching the Grill area, clean the Pool to 100%. At 50%, you get +0.25x leaf value. The small gate in the hedge unlocks once the Pool is fully cleaned.
Follow the hedge path to the Greenhouse. It is a simple route. You can also enter from the other side via the wooden gate in the Swing area. Make sure to clean the pool interior, the border, and the loungers for 100%.
Infiltrator – How to Unlock the Secret Room
Clean the Greenhouse 100% to unlock the key to the basement. Also clean the Swings 100% to unlock the crouch ability using CTRL.
Go back to the Basement. The area is reachable through the Swing side. Crawl through the vent at the rear wall until you see what is on the other side. The game ends here but you can continue playing afterward.
The crouch ability is required to pass the vent.
Novice Investor – How to Buy Your First Item
Buy an item. Gather leaves and put them into the trash until you have $0.75. Go to the Shed and buy the Medium Leaf Bag on the back wall for $0.75. It increases your bag size to 200 leaves.
Seal the Deal – How to Tie 5000 Leaves into Bags
Get 5000 leaves into tied bags. Clean the Porch 100% to unlock the tying mechanic. When a bag is full, hold the right mouse button to tie it. You can combine any bag sizes to reach the total.
Keep tying bags during normal play and you will likely reach 5000 leaves naturally.
Almighty – How to Unlock Bag Tying, Sprint and Crouch
Acquire all three abilities by cleaning these areas to 100%: Porch for bag tying, Court for sprint, and Swings for crouch. Note that you need to unlock the garage to enter the Swings area.
Porch gives you the bag tying ability at 100%.
Court gives you the sprint ability at 100%.
Swings gives you the crouch ability at 100%.
Leaf of Faith – How to Jump into a 1000-Leaf Pile
Jump into a pile of 1000 leaves. Earn $7.49, then buy the Rake in the Shed.
Use the Rake to pile up leaves and jump into the pile. The Journal shows how many leaves the pile contained.
Stacking in a corner works better. You may need more than 1000 leaves because they do not stack perfectly.
Leaf No Leaf Behind – How to Clean Every Area 100%
Clean up all leaves in every area. There are 13 areas to reach 100%. The Secret Room is not required. Open the map in the Journal with TAB and hover over sections to see collected and total leaves.
Areas that must be 100%: Frontyard, Entrance, Porch, Driveway, Court, Garage, Swings, Basement, Shed, Grill, Pool, Maze, Greenhouse.
Senior Investor – How to Buy All Tools and Upgrades
Buy all tools in the Shed and all upgrades in the book under Upgrades. Tools are Medium Leaf Bag, Large Leaf Bag, Rake and Leaf Blower. Then in the Book, purchase all upgrades for Hand, Rake and Leaf Blower. Leaf inlets are not required for this achievement and the labyrinth bonus is not needed.
Leaf inlet prices: Porch right side $0, Porch left side $3, Court side of the garage $3, Swings back side of the garage $6, Grill area houseside $10, Pool $15, Labyrinth back side of the house $20, Path to the greenhouse $25.
Open the Upgrades tab in your book and complete all available upgrades for each category.
Trashketball – How to Dump a Tied Leaf Bag from 15 Meters
Unlock bag tying by cleaning the Porch 100% and sprint by cleaning the Court 100%. Tie a bag and go to the basketball court. Aim over the trash bin, then sprint and jump to throw from at least 15 meters.
Your position should allow enough distance. Use the example position as a reference.
Center the mouse over the trash can lid before releasing the bag to get the correct arc.
Dunk like you’re drunk – How to Hit the Basket with Three Items
Throw a basketball, a beach ball and a tied leaf bag through the basket. The basketball is in the garage after you unlock it. The beach ball is in the pool after you unlock the grill. The soccer ball does not count and cannot be thrown through.
Pick up the basketball in the garage and throw it through the basket.
Pick up the beach ball from the pool and throw it through the basket as well. Finally, tie a leaf bag and throw it through to finish the achievement.
Say Leaf! – How to Collect All 8 Mysterious Photos
There are 8 photographs hidden in the game. You need to unlock every area except the Secret Room. You can find the first three without unlocking any area, three more after unlocking the garage, one after unlocking the grill, and the last one after unlocking the greenhouse.
Photo 1 is in the shed, on the left wall pinboard.
Photo 2 is on the porch fence facing the trash can, near the corner.
Photo 3 is at the Court, stand in the corner behind the basket and look up.
Photo 4 is in the garage, right wall corner after unlocking the garage.
Photo 5 is in the swings area, behind a high power box on the garage wall.
Photo 6 is in the basement, on the right shelf after you turn to face the entrance.
Photo 7 is in the grill area, to the right of the door to the house.
Photo 8 is inside the scarecrow’s coat in the greenhouse, visible when entering from the maze side.
Perfectionist – How to Complete All Objectives
Complete all objectives in the game. Objectives appear in your journal and correspond to achievements. The following achievements are not required as objectives for Perfectionist: Craftsman, Work smart, not hard, and Need for sweep.
Craftsman – How to Finish Without Repairing Leaf Inlets
Complete the game without repairing any leaf inlets. There are 8 leaf inlets across the map. Do not buy them. Hovering is fine. Avoid clicking them. Craftsman is achieved when you reach the Secret Room. You do not need 100% in every area for this run.
Inlet 1 is on the porch right side.
Inlet 2 is on the porch left side.
Inlet 3 is on the court at the side of the garage.
Inlet 4 is in the swings area on the back side of the garage.
Inlet 5 is in the grill area on the left side of the house.
Inlet 6 is in the middle of the pool.
Inlet 7 is at the backside of the house, in the middle of the labyrinth.
Inlet 8 is on the path to the greenhouse.
Work smart, not hard – How to Earn an Immense Number of Shekleaves
This counts how many shekleaves you earn in a single run. You must finish it before crawling into the secret room, because money does not add up after reaching the end. Recommended approach from the notes: clean the Porch to unlock bag tying, tie all full bags and do not sell yet. Get value bonuses by completing Entrance 100%, Basement 50% and Pool 50%. After you have these bonuses, dump every tied bag. Buying tools and upgrades does not reduce the total. Garage and Grill give a nice bonus for 100% completion.
Need for sweep – How to Complete the Game Under 40 Minutes
Finish under 40 minutes by focusing on the necessary areas only. Required sequence from the notes: Court 100% for sprint and to unlock Garage, Basement 100% to unlock Shed, Shed 100% to unlock Grill, Pool 100% to unlock Greenhouse, Greenhouse 100% to unlock Secret Room, Swings 100% to unlock crouch. Porch 100% for bag tying is optional. Use leaf inlets, especially in the Pool. Plan purchases so you grab tools when you pass the Shed again.
