All Endings in Berry Bury Berry
In this guide, I explain all four endings in Berry Bury Berry in a clear and straightforward way. Each ending has its own requirements, and I walk through exactly how I unlocked them while playing the game.
Ending 1
Ending 1 is the most straightforward ending in the game. I unlocked this ending simply by playing through the game normally. There are no special requirements or hidden conditions. If you progress through the game as intended, this ending will unlock naturally.
Ending 2
Ending 2 becomes available after earning the achievement for consuming all Gnomes. Once I unlocked that achievement, a Gnome appeared in the main room where the computer is located.
I picked up the disk the Gnome dropped and inserted it into the computer. After doing that, a unique scene played out. I will not fully spoil what happens, but it is definitely worth watching. When the scene finished, the second ending was completed.
Ending 3
Collecting the Dark Stars
Ending 3 requires collecting all 7 Dark Stars. I could not trigger this ending until every Dark Star was collected.
Activating the Ending
After collecting all 7 Dark Stars, I went back to the main room with the computer. On the computer screen, I clicked the Trash Icon. At that moment, a familiar character appeared to the left side of the room against the wall, holding another disk.
Just like with the Gnome disk, I inserted this disk into the computer. This triggered another special scene. Once the scene ended, I had successfully unlocked the third ending.
Ending 4
Requirements for the Final Ending
Ending 4 was the most surprising one for me. I discovered it while letting the game play mostly on its own and searching for clues. At some point, I received a prompt saying I had an upgrade available for a berry buddy.
To unlock this ending, I had saved up 10,000 stars. With that amount, I was able to upgrade a berry buddy.
Completing the Ending
After upgrading the berry buddy, a dark berry buddy appeared. Once it was born, it produced a dark fruit. I placed the dark fruit into the hole, which immediately started the fourth and final ending scene.
During this ending, the entire map slowly filled with juice. After the sequence finished, the fourth ending was complete.
The first time I tried this, the ending did not activate right away. Using the chainsaw to cut a fruit triggered it. The second time, it started automatically. If the ending does not begin for you, using the chainsaw may help.
That said, the payoff felt a bit underwhelming for the effort required. Still, that is all four endings completed.
