Homicipher Walkthrough: Routes and All Endings

How to get all the endings and ways to reach some routes!

Mr. Silvair’s Route

  1. Load Chapter 4, Scene 5. Alternatively, load the nearest save to this state, leave the room, then return to the room where Mr. Chopped is sleeping.
  2. Sleep on the bed.

Mr. Hood’s Route

Load the Second Unnumbered Chapter, Scene 19. Alternatively, load a save close to this if you’ve previously completed Mr. Hood’s route. If you have no saves for the Second Unnumbered Chapter:

  1. Reload Chapter 4, Scene 14 and enter the scene. Proceed through the game as usual.
  2. Look up once inside. During quick-time events, choose to run to the door, go through the hallway, and interact with the door.
  3. Turn around before the timer ends and push past him.
  4. Choose “Was small” to enter Mr. Hood’s route.

Mr. Machete’s Route

Load Chapter 4, Scene 18. If you don’t have it:

  1. Reload Chapter 4, Scene 14 and progress as usual.
  2. Once inside, look up and during quick-time events, run to the door, go through the hallway, and interact with the door.
  3. Turn around before the timer ends and push past him.
  4. Choose “Was big” to enter Mr. Machete’s route, then select “To defeat that guy.”
  5. Ensure to interact with the marked area before the timer runs out.

Mr. Crawling’s Route

Load Chapter 4, Scene 33. Alternatively, start from Chapter 4, Scene 26, Scene 17, or Scene 18 and choose “Was normal” if you don’t have it. Follow the guide below from here.

Starting from scratch:

  1. Reload Chapter 4, Scene 14 and progress as usual.
  2. Inside, look up and during quick-time events, run to the door, through the hallway, and interact with the door.
  3. Turn around before the timer ends and push past him.
  4. Choose “Was normal” to enter Mr. Crawling’s route.
  5. Break the door open and, when prompted with four options, pick the third.
  6. Choices are irrelevant until you reach the elevator. Choose to “do nothing.”

Homicipher Endings

END01: Research

Do not take Mr. Chopped with you in Chapter 1, Scene 6, and progress normally.

END02: Happy Ending!

In Chapter 3, Scene 9, take the elevator up.

END03: I’m Back

  1. Go to Chapter 3, Scene 19, and choose the elevator.
  2. Choose to go alone.

END04: Blissful Love Life

  1. Go to Chapter 3, Scene 19, and choose the elevator.
  2. Choose to go together.

END05: Head Hunt

  1. Load Chapter 3, Scene 23, and make random choices until you lose (make three mistakes).
  2. At the “Mistake End” prompt, wait and select “Beyond.”

END06: A Head’s Life

  1. Load Chapter 4, Scene 5. Alternatively, load the closest save, leave, and return to the room where Mr. Chopped is sleeping.
  2. Sleep on the bed.
  3. Choose “Kill” as your first option.

END07: Observation Target

  1. Reload Chapter 4, Scene 6 and select “do nothing” three times, then choose “kill” the final time.

END08: Wanted You To Be Happy

  1. Reload Chapter 4, Scene 6, selecting “do nothing” three times, then “kill.”
  2. After END07, pick “Beyond.”
  3. Do NOT break the cage; let the timer expire.
  4. Answer his questions within the time limit.
  5. Select the second option, then the first, then the first again.
  6. Follow the game’s directions until prompted; select “Go.”
  7. Open the door directly in front of you and press the upward arrow before time runs out.
  8. At the final quick-time event (Mr. Silvair stands left with an axe; options: LEFT or UP), save here.
  9. Go LEFT, pressing the button before the timer expires.

Route End: Mr. Silver Hair (All Three Endings)

  1. Reload the previous END08 save or follow the guide to the choice branch.
  2. Reload Chapter 4, Scene 8. After END07, select “Beyond” (or load your FIRST unnumbered chapter save and follow).
  3. Do NOT break the cage; let the timer expire.
  4. Answer his questions within the time limit.
  5. Select the second option, then the first, then the first.
  6. Follow the game until two options appear; choose “Go.”
  7. Open the door in front and press the upward arrow before the timer runs out.
  8. At the last quick-time event (LEFT or UP options), select UP.

After selecting UP: 9. Continue to a room with a red light; proceed into the black/red hallway. Save here. 10. Avoid the big window to the right; instead, head straight in for “Route End: Mr. Silver Hair 1.”

Route End: Mr. Hood

  1. Load the Second Unnumbered Chapter Scene 19. If you don’t have a save for Mr. Hood’s route, follow these steps:
    • Reload Chapter 4 Scene 14 and enter. Proceed through the game.
    • Once inside, look up and during quick-time events, run to the door, go through the hallway, and touch the door.
    • Turn around before the timer ends and push past him.
    • Choose “Was small” to enter Mr. Hood’s Route.
  2. Continue playing until you reach the Second Unnumbered Chapter Scene 19.
  3. When you encounter Mr. Hugeface, press his hand quickly before the timer ends.

After two choices appear, both will lead to “Route End: Mr. Hood.”

Route End: Mr. Machete

  1. Load Chapter 4 Scene 18. If you don’t have it, then:
    • Reload Chapter 4 Scene 14 and enter. Continue as usual.
    • Inside, look up and during quick-time events, run to the door, go through the hallway, and touch the door.
    • Turn around in time before the timer ends and push past him.
    • Choose “Was big” to start Mr. Machete’s route.
    • Select “To defeat that guy.”
  2. When prompted, touch the area indicated before time runs out.
  3. In the next room, take the machete, but do NOT smile at Mr. Gap. Use the machete to break the door, and avoid the hand in time.
  4. Follow Mr. Machete into another room, but do NOT touch the broken vent.
  5. When faced with a quick-time event involving a chainsaw-wielding character, dodge in time.
  6. After meeting the ghost, avoid Mr. Hugeface’s attacks.
  7. In the red area, listen to Mr. Machete and dodge Mr. Hugeface’s hand again.

Your choices and quick-time results here don’t impact the ending; simply play through to finish Mr. Machete’s route.

END09: Adolescence

  • Load Chapter 4 Scene 18. If unavailable, reload Chapter 4 Scene 14, continue normally, and select “Was big” when prompted. Then, choose “To find the exit.”

END10: Dark Beyond Darkness

  • Reload Chapter 4 Scene 20, letting the timer expire. If needed, follow the steps to load Chapter 4 Scene 18, selecting “Was big” and then “To defeat that guy.”

END11: Lost Little Me

  • In Chapter 4 Scene 25, click the gap on the room’s left side. Continue and enter the elevator. When speaking to Mr. Gap, choose the first and then the third options.

END12: Sore Loser + Fight END

  • Reload Chapter 1 Scene 1 (available after Chapter 5). When Mr. Crawling appears, let the timer expire, enter where he came from, and kill/ignore everyone. Look up before the timer ends to get END12. Then, choose “Beyond” and successfully complete the quick-time events to fight Mr. Machete.

END13: And Then I Saw No One + Route END: Mr. Chopped Head

  1. Reload Chapter 1 Scene 1, let the timer expire when Mr. Crawling appears, then enter where he came from and kill/ignore others. Do NOT look up; let the timer run out. Save once you find Mr. Chopped.
  2. To get END13, reload the save and kill Mr. Chopped.
  3. For Route END: Mr. Chopped Head, reload the save and talk to Mr. Chopped (any answers work).

END14: Pet

  1. Reload Chapter 4 Scene 14, enter, look up, and during quick-time events, run to the door, hallway, and touch the door. Select “Was small” to enter Mr. Hood’s Route and continue the game as normal.

END15: Eternal Slumber

  1. Load Chapter 4 Scene 33 and ignore the crying. Continue to the next room.
  2. Enter the second door to see a scene with Mr. Silvair and Mr. Chopped, or choose the first door to skip this scene.

Route End: Mr. Crawling

  1. Load Chapter 4 Scene 33. Alternatively, you can start from Chapter 4 Scene 26, Chapter 4 Scene 17, or Chapter 4 Scene 18 and choose “Was normal” if this option is not yet available. Follow the guide below.

Starting from the Very Beginning:

  1. Load Chapter 4 Scene 14 and enter. Continue through the game as usual.
  2. Once inside, look up. During the quick-time events, choose to run to the door, go through the hallway, and interact with the door.
  3. Turn around before the timer runs out, then push past the character.
  4. When prompted to choose “Was big,” “Was normal,” or “Was small,” select “Was normal” to enter Mr. Crawling’s route.
  5. Break the door open, and when presented with four options, choose the third one.
  6. Progress until you reach the elevator. Choose to “do nothing”.
  7. When given two options, select “Killed”.
  8. Upon hearing crying noises, go to the nearby room on the right and open the locker.
  9. In a room with beds and Mr. Crawling, select the first option.

After this point, your choices do not impact the outcome.

END16: The Story Goes On Forever

  1. Load Chapter 5 Scene 7.
  2. Select the second option with Mr. Gap.
  3. Choose to sleep three times in a row.

END17: Don’t Make Me Worry

  1. Load Episode 5 Scene 10 and choose the second option.
  2. Your choices from this point forward do not affect the outcome, so pick any options.

END18: Stitched Up Daydream

  1. Load Episode 5 Scene 10 and select the first option.
  2. When presented with a choice between “left” or “up,” choose “up” but don’t brake. Interact with Mr. Stitch and initiate an attack.
  3. When prompted, choose the second option.

After this, your choices don’t matter.

END19: Best of Mr. Gap

  1. Load Chapter 5 Scene 7.
  2. Select the first option with Mr. Gap.
  3. Choose to sleep three times in a row.
  4. Break the mirror, then proceed to the right, and then go forward.
  5. When prompted to write a name in the text bar, enter the wrong name.
  6. After the telephone, turn the corner to meet Mr. Scarletella. Press on him instead of leaving, then attack him. Turn right afterward.
  7. Allow the timer to expire, then attack him two more times.

When faced with Mr. Scarletella in front of you, select the following options in order:

  • First option
  • Second option
  • Second option
  • First option
  • First option
  • First option

Allow the timer to run out, and Mr. Gap will assist you. Any choice here is acceptable.

Return End

  1. Load Chapter 4 Scene 25 and click on the gap on the left side of the room.
  2. Move forward and enter the elevator.
  3. When speaking to Mr. Gap in the wall, choose the first option, then the second option.
  4. When speaking to Mr. Gap in the bag, your response does not matter. Continue progressing through the story.

Scarlet End

  1. Load Chapter 5 Scene 7.
  2. Select the first option with Mr. Gap.
  3. Choose to sleep three times in a row.
  4. Break the mirror, go right, and then proceed forward.
  5. When prompted to write a name, enter the name you previously selected.

Scarletella End

  1. Load Chapter 5 Scene 7.
  2. Choose the first option with Mr. Gap.
  3. Select to sleep three times in a row.
  4. Break the mirror, go right, and then move forward.
  5. When prompted, enter the wrong name.
  6. After the telephone, turn the corner and press on Mr. Scarletella instead of leaving. Attack him, then turn right.
  7. Allow the timer to expire, then attack him twice more.
  8. With Mr. Scarletella in front of you, choose the following options in order:
    • Second option
    • First option
    • First option
    • Second option
    • Second option
    • Second option

Quit to the title to see a new title screen.

Scarlet Rain End

  1. Load Chapter 5 Scene 7.
  2. Pick the first option with Mr. Gap.
  3. Sleep three times in a row.
  4. Break the mirror, go right, then move forward.
  5. When prompted, enter the wrong name.
  6. After the telephone, turn the corner and press on Mr. Scarletella instead of leaving. Attack him, then turn right.
  7. Let the timer expire, then attack him twice more.
  8. With Mr. Scarletella in front of you, select the following options:
    • First option
    • Second option
    • Second option
    • First option
    • First option
    • First option
  9. Choose “break” within the time limit.
  10. When you see his red umbrella, select “talk” and then make any choice.
  11. Give him any name you wish.

Quit to the title to see a new title screen.

Victory End

  1. Load Chapter 5 Scene 7.
  2. Pick the first option with Mr. Gap.
  3. Sleep three times in a row.
  4. Break the mirror, go right, then move forward.
  5. When prompted, enter the wrong name.
  6. After the telephone, turn the corner and press on Mr. Scarletella instead of leaving. Attack him, then turn right.
  7. Let the timer expire, then attack him twice more.
  8. With Mr. Scarletella in front of you, choose the following options:
    • First option
    • Second option
    • Second option
    • First option
    • First option
    • First option
  9. Select “break” within the time limit.
  10. When you see his red umbrella, select “Break.”

Goodbye End, Awakening End & Tranquil End (New Update!)

Goodbye End

IMPORTANT NOTE: Make sure you have already completed the Scarlet Rain End.

  1. Load Chapter 5 Scene 24 and choose to run.
  2. When prompted with two options in the mirror room, choose to run again (going back would prompt you to the scene with Mr. Scarletella and you will have to do everything again).
  3. Talk to the telephone and pick the second option.

Awakening End

  1. Load Chapter 5 Scene 25 and choose to break the umbrella.
  2. You’ll be asked to make a choice of either a smartphone or a telephone. It is recommended to save here since this is where the endings will branch.

If you pick the smartphone then you will achieve the Awakening End.

Tranquil End

  1. Load Chapter 5 Scene 25 and choose to break the umbrella.
  2. You’ll be asked to make a choice of either a smartphone or a telephone. It is recommended to save here since this is where the endings will branch.
  • If you pick the telephone, you will get two options:
  • If you choose “I defeated it”, then it will lead to the Victory End.
  • If you choose “I was drreaming”, then it will lead to the Tranquil End.
