Finding the Entrance to The Grey Labyrinth
The entrance to The Grey Labyrinth is at the far end of Ember Valley, near the volcanic area. You might have seen a massive door surrounded by lava—this is the gateway to the new content!

Unlocking the Door
Inside the cave, you’ll encounter:
- A closed door with a weird orb (exact name unknown)
- A slime-shaped rock with glowing light
This puzzle requires a new utility item introduced in the update.
Radiant Projector
After installing the update, you’ll receive a recipe for the Radiant Projector, a utility gadget essential for solving the puzzle.
Crafting Requirements
To craft one Radiant Projector, you’ll need:
- Material A (Quantity: X)
- Material B (Quantity: Y)
You’ll likely need two Radiant Projectors to complete the puzzle.
Puzzle Solution
- Place and rotate the Radiant Projectors to angle the light toward the orb.
- The light must hit the orb to open the door.
Pro Tip: Once the door opens, you can pick up and reuse your Radiant Projectors elsewhere.
Exploring The Grey Labyrinth
Upon entering the Labyrinth, you’ll notice two dark voids on your right and another on the left further in. These voids damage you for 10 HP if you attempt to enter them.
The area features a stunning design with a mysterious and otherworldly atmosphere.
The Plort Door
- Requirement: 1 Rock Plort
- This door leads deeper into the Labyrinth. However, it cannot be opened from this side.
Meet Gigi
A new character, Gigi, a botanist and explorer, is introduced in this update. Gigi guides you through the Labyrinth and provides assistance via in-game communication.
After your first conversation with her, she opens a door on your right, allowing further exploration.
New Slime: Shadow
- Diet: None
- How to Collect Plorts:
- Throw items like carrots or chickens at them.
- Other fruits or veggies may work as well.
New Resources
- Magma Comb
- Tin Petal
- Unstable Fruit/Chicken/Veggie
- Behavior: These items randomly drop from your inventory when taking damage.
- Feeding them to slimes produces Unstable Plorts.
