PoE 2 Stash Tabs
Below are my recommendation to buy only during sales (stash sales happen every month) to save budget.
If you are casual Path of Exile (POE) first time playing through the story mode, you don’t need additional stash. You can just finish the story mode with the basic stash you have.
But once you complete story mode, start mapping and going into complex end game content, it is recommended to get additional stash for quality of game life improvement.
The picture above is a typical look of your basic stash when you complete campaign, start mapping in the end game. A nightmare indeed.
The problem will rise because each item have stacking limit. Example, a currency Transmutation Orb have 40 stacking limit. So if you have 150 transmutation Orbs, that would take 4 stash slots (40, 40, 40, 30).
If you have lots of money, then you can just buy anything you like. But if you are a tight budget gamer, then I recommend you skip the cosmetic (for now) and buy stash only for your first micro transaction spending.
I highly recommend that you don’t spend any point for stash at least until you reach endgame and buy only during sales. After having enough stash, you can start buying other cosmetic items.
Please note that POE 2 is still new, so most of the stash tab look empty and you don’t need the league stash tab e.g. delirium, essence. Overtime when more content and items are added, at that point you can consider buying those league stash tab.
Type of Stash Tab
- Premium tab: Premium stash tabs can be colored and renamed by right clicking on the tab name. Right-clicking on an item in a premium stash tab allows the player to set a note on the item (for instance the buyout price) which makes it accessible to third-party trading websites through the Public Stash Tab API. This can be upgraded from Normal Stash.
- Price: 30-40 points (10-15 point to upgrade from Normal Stash)
- My Rating: Required at least one for trading.
- Currency tab: Holds currency items, up to 5000 of each item (50000 for Perandus Coins). Also contains slots for miscellaneous currency items and one item slot.
- Price: 60-75 points
- My Rating: Required
- Essence tab: Holds Essences, up to 5000 of each. Essences can be upgraded from the tab using the Upgrade button. Also contains 4 slots for miscellaneous currency items and one item slot.
- Price: 30-40 points
- My Rating: Optional
- Divination tab: Holds divination cards, up to 5000 of each.
- Price: 40-50 points
- My Rating: Coming soon to POE 2
- Map tab: Holds maps. Up to 72 of each map can be stored. Also displays atlas objective completion, and conqueror influences for each map base. Maps of one type of legacy series can be stored and can be bulk converted to the most recent set.
- Price: 120-150 points
- My Rating: Coming Soon to POE 2
- Fragments tab: Holds fragments of various kinds, including map fragments, breach and legion splinters, breachstones, emblems, scarabs, Offering to the Goddess, and Divine Vessels, maximum of 5000 per item.
- Price: 55-75 points
- My Rating: Coming soon to POE 2
- Uniques tab: Holds one of each unique item, resulting in a tab with slots as many as unique available in the game which will increase over time. Alternate art uniques and extremely limited uniques have a hidden slot.
- Price: 110-140 points

- Delve tab: Holds fossils and resonators, up to 5000 each. Also contains two item slots.
- Price: 30-40 points

- Blight tab: Holds up to 5000 oils of each kind and up to 60 blighted maps. Oils can be upgraded from the tab using the Upgrade button. Also contains one item slot with three item slots for oils for anointing.

- Ultimatum tab: Holds up to 5000 of each catalyst and 60 inscribed Ultimatums . Also contains one item slot.

- Comment: I really don’t recommend this in POE 2 with the current state of flask.
- Premium Quad Stash Tab: A 24×24 premium stash tab, as big as four stash tabs. Can be use for public trading.
- Price: 120-150 points
- My Rating: Luxury.
- Comment: This stash is good if you have no budget restrain.
- Currently there isn’t much item in the game that required the other stash tab .
- I will drop this on the lower tier once other stash tab are available and more item are added to the game.
