Car Manufacture Guide

In this guide, I will explain the tips for those who are new to Car Manufacture to easily start the game.

Car Manufacture Early Game Guide

Because some players complain about the difficult start, I would like to explain in this guide how to start the game easily.

Selecting the Map and Game Settings

Destroit offers a balanced gaming experience with plenty of space and the option to expand the terrain later on. For an easier start, there is the option to unlock the technology tree at the beginning of the game or to deactivate bankruptcy. We start without the technology tree unlocked and with bankruptcy activated.

The first Production Line

To keep transportation routes short, we build a small factory near the warehouse. The factory can be expanded later. To start with, an assembly station and a small stockpile are sufficient.

We hire 3 mechanics and 3 transporters for the first production run. I choose level 3 employees and set the wage to 15$.

Sales Building

We place the sales building near the entrance to the property. An 8×8 sales area is sufficient here. Now hire a level 3 salesmen.

Research

For research, we construct a new building and a research area measuring 8×8. 3 research tables and 3 researchers are optimal for the beginning.

Parking Spaces

It is important to have enough parking spaces at the beginning. They are very cheap and have the advantage of promoting a car and waiting to release it, then producing a few cars and selling them with the initial bonus for 400% markup. New cars attract many customers at the beginning. This works with any new model. A good layout is 6×24 for 6 parking spaces. We build 3 of them.

The price of the car is set in the sales area.

Selling the First Cars

Now there should be about 7000$ left. With this we produce the first car model and at the same time start research for the next car model. The T1 car will initially only be advertised but not sold.

Once about 10 cars have been produced, we start selling them.

The Second Production Line

For the second production line, we research “Management I” and “Sales I”. Now we hire another salesman, 3 mechanics and 3 transporters.
Research has now progressed and we can build T2 cars. Here we present the cars again and produce them before sales start with a 400% markup. When the money runs out, it’s time to start the release.

Technology Tree

To train the salesmen to level 10, we hire a total of 5 salesmen and unlock “Sales competence I”. This means that the cars can still be sold with a 400% mark-up.

Now we’ve made a good start and there should be enough money to expand.
