In this guide I will briefly explain how to get the Tin Can Takedown achievement in Backyard Baseball 97.
Tin Can Takedown Achievement
This achievement needs some luck and patience.
Location for Home Run

There’s a hidden spot in the right field of the ballpark where, if the ball is hit just right, it can glitch and count as a home run instead of a ground-rule double. When this happens, you’ll get the achievement for hitting a home run.
It helps if your batter is right-handed and has a lot of power, like Pablo Sanchez, Jocinda Smith, or Keisha Phillips. Using a “closed” batting stance also makes it easier to hit the ball into that hidden spot.
You can do this in any game mode, and it works with pitch locator turned on. You can’t use power-ups, as the achievement description says. You can also save the game at the start with those batters, and if you don’t get the home run, reload the game and try again!
