Finding Bees to Craft a Beehive

To make a Beehive (added in the Christmas update), you’ll need:

  • 2 Beeswax
  • 1 Queen Bee

Steps to Collect Bees

  1. Wear a Beekeeper Suit:
    Craft and wear it before destroying any hives to avoid bee stings.
  2. Use a Vacuum:
    Destroy hives with a vacuum to collect items and prevent them from flying away.
  3. Move Faster:
    Equip Bionic Legs, a Jetpack, and the Dangling Gravity Cube to travel between hive locations quickly. If enemies attack, use the Sigil of the Hearth for protection.

  • To the left of the patrolling Exor.

Manufacturing

  • Inside the tunnel under the shipping containers.
  • Above the Pest Dummy in the Staff Processing portal.

  • On the big yellow vat in the Adjustment Wing lobby.
  • Under the Tarasque fight area.
  • In the vent near the second Labs tram stop.

Mycofields

  • On the tallest mountain with a big yellow waterfall from the sky, on the middle mushroom.
  • On a big mushroom to the left of a mountain with barnacles on top.
  • Behind the power source, left of the climb to the exit portal.

Finding Antejuice

Antejuice is crucial for your Beehive. Here’s how to collect it:

  1. Bring Buckets:
    Head to the mines in the Manufacturing area.
  2. Find the Antejuice Pond:
    Navigate through the maze-like mine to locate the pond.
  3. Collect and Store:
    Fill the buckets with Antejuice and bring them back to your base. Transfer it to a barrel near your Beehive.

Tips

  • Optimize Your Route: Memorize hive spawn locations to move efficiently. Mobility tools like the Jetpack and Bionic Legs will save time and help you avoid enemies.
  • Use the Vacuum Strategically: Destroy hives from a safe distance to collect items without scattering them.
  • Be Ready for Enemies: Certain hive locations, especially in Labs and Mycofields, may have aggressive enemies nearby. Equip protective tools like the Sigil of the Hearth.
