The Casting of Frank Stone Achievements

In this guide I will detail the achievements in The Casting of Frank Stone and how to get them. This is a work in progress so be sure to check the site for updated achievements!

Achievement Guide

Savior

Savior

In Chapter 1, during the scene at the furnace, you’ll play as Sam. To unlock this achievement, you need to pass all the quick-time events (QTEs). If you succeed, you’ll save the child, and the achievement will pop up. This is important if you want everyone to survive.

Fellow Traveler

Fellow Traveler

In Chapter 2, while playing as Madison, you’ll see a lady on the side of the road. You’ll have a choice to either stop and pick her up or keep driving. Choose to pick her up to unlock this achievement.

Motif

Motif

In Chapter 2, when you first enter the manor, go upstairs and pick up the music note. Then, go into the room on the second floor and play the note on the piano. The achievement will unlock after you play the tune.

Lumpkin and Livin’

Lumpkin and Livin

It’s not fully known how to unlock this achievement yet, but it seems that being kind to Tom in Chapter 1 might be the key. More information will be provided when confirmed.

Skills? Check!

Skills- Check!

Skill checks are similar to quick-time events from the game “Dead by Daylight.” They show up during certain parts of the game, and you need to press a button at the right moment. Successfully doing 5 skill checks in a row will unlock this achievement.

Open Sesame

Open Sesame

This achievement is story-related and unmissable. Just keep playing the game, and you’ll unlock it automatically.

Camera Shy

Camera Shy

This achievement might unlock if you don’t fail any QTEs involving the camera when Frank Stone appears. The exact method isn’t fully known yet, so more details will be added later.

The Campfire

The Campfire

Simply complete the game to unlock this achievement. It’s unmissable.

Tinkerer

Tinkerer

This achievement is also story-related and should unlock as you progress. If it’s not, I’ll update this guide.

Bad Dog

Bad Dog

In Chapter 9, while playing as Linda, you’ll find Merlin’s collar. After leaving the room blocked by steam, look for the collar in a corner near some turned-off lights to unlock this achievement.

8 Bit Hero

8 Bit Hero

In Chapter 3, when you enter the drugstore (you can’t miss this location), before ringing the bell on the counter, go to the right side and play the arcade machine. You need to beat the high score, which is around 5,000 points. You’ll need to complete 3-4 levels to do so, but you only have 3 lives.

Murder Mill

It’s All in the Reflexes

It's All in the Reflexes

You need to succeed in 10 “Great Skill Checks.” These are similar to the regular skill checks, but you have to hit a small, bold white area in the circle. It might be tough, but after a few tries, you should get it.

Back to the… Past

This might be unlocked by choosing to send Chris back to her timeline after she visits the future. More details will be added as soon as they’re known.

Stan of Cleaves

Stan of Cleaves

In Chapter 14, if you send Chris back to her time when she enters 2024, you’ll get a scene with the room collapsing. Stan will have a QTE event. If you fail that QTE, this achievement will unlock.

Escape Artist

In Chapter 13, while playing as Sam, you’ll need to find Jaime in the storm drains and free him. Most of this is a cut-scene, but you’ll need to fend off Frank using the camera. It’s challenging but should be doable.

  • Hillbilly Relic: Appears when you play as Sam in the first chapter. You will be in the storm drains. You will need to explore the room until you find the pipes to climb. The collectible is located just above the pipes leaning against the wall.
  • Relic Hunter: In Chapter 2, you will need to go up as Madison. Here you will need to play the piano, a secret door will open. Follow the secret door to enter another room where a relic awaits you.
  • Relic Hunter: To find the hunter, you will need to visit Chapter 3 of the store. Walk around until you reach the corner of the store with the lamp above the chest and you will see a collectible with a bright white frame.
  • Relic Ghost: You will play as Chris in the storm drains in Chapter 5. While exploring the wall, you will find a gap in the wall that you can go through, and of course, the Phantom is sitting right behind this wall. If you missed Ghost in Chapter 5 as Chris, you can find him again in the storm drain in Chapter 13 as Sam.
  • Relic Clown: In Chapter 5, the Clown is hiding near the foundry. Instead of going through this door, go back to the main corridors and turn right. There will be a wall you can go under, and at the back of the room, there will be a clown lying under some trash.
  • Relic Legion: We return as Jaime, who is trying to open the elevator door in 2024. At the very beginning of this chapter, you can go upstairs to an area that was previously blocked. While doing so, go to the left corner to find Legion.
  • Nurse’s Relic: You will have to play through most of Chapter 8 before you can play as Linda to find the Nurse. When you find yourself in the storage area as Linda, don’t rush to watch the movie, instead look in the middle passage and go down to find the Nurse at the end of the area.
  • Relic Doctor: This is one of the most difficult relics because you have to find a secret area and then open a second secret area from inside. Go through the door as Linda and don’t go up the stairs. There is only one door you can use.

The door will lead to a basement, and you’ll need to go through it to find a creepy mural on the wall, as well as a book with the word STONE written on the front. The door here will take you back to where you came from (the locked door is now unlocked), but you’ll need to go left and move the panel that closes the secret lair. You can then collect the Doctor’s relic.

  • Gemini Relic: The Geminis are hidden in Chapter 12. As Madison, instead of going through the door, go to the secret exit to the bedroom, explore the corridors, and you’ll come to a dead end with the Twins sitting on a table.
  • Spirit Relic: In Chapter 13, as Sam, climb up the gap in the wall in the storm drain that used to be a grate, and follow the corridor until you see the Spirit on the right.
  • Trickster Relic: Instead of going left on your way to the finish line, turn right and find a strange house door in the woods. Walk through it and you’ll find the Trickster on the ground.

Relic Frank Stone: You can’t miss this relic. Watch the post-credits scene and you’ll automatically unlock the final 12th relic.

The Storyteller

Phagocytosis

To unlock this, make sure Madi keeps the pendant herself, but when playing as Linda, take Sam’s diary instead of his gun. In Chapter 14, when Augustine hypnotizes Madi, do nothing to stop her from being grabbed by Frank Stone.

Entity Displeased

Entity Displeased

Here’s what you need to do for everyone to survive:

  1. Don’t fail any QTEs, especially in the Chapter 1 ending and Chapter 13.
  2. In Chapter 5 as Jaime, choose to flee when given the choice between fleeing and confronting.
  3. As Linda, take the diary instead of the pouch when given the choice.
  4. Send Chris back to her timeline when given the choice.
  5. Don’t let Madison keep the pendant; give it to Stan.
  6. In Chapter 13, explore the storm drain as Sam to save Jaime.
  7. In Chapter 14, don’t confront Stan. Focus on Augustine. When given the choice to help Stan, choose “Back Away” because Stan isn’t required for this achievement, and Frank has to consume someone.
  8. In Chapter 14, as Linda, help Madi. Don’t go for the elevator. Flee and leave Sam, and don’t fail any QTEs.
  9. Finally, as Madi, refuse Augustine.

Merciless Killer

Merciless Killer

For this achievement, you need to do the opposite of what you did for the “Entity Displeased” achievement. Some key points are:

  1. In Chapter 5, as Jaime, try to help Chris when Frank Stone shows up.
  2. Ensure Madison keeps the pendant; she won’t survive if she wears it.
  3. Sam has several chances to fail, and Frank Stone can absorb him near the end.
  4. As Linda in Chapter 14, fail the skill check so Frank will kill her.
  5. After sending Chris back to 1980, don’t save her as Sam with the camera.

Five Finger Discount

In Chapter 3, in the garage, you need to make Bonnie angry. Choose “Shocked” and double down with “Family comes first.” Then, steal from her to unlock this achievement.

Plunderer’s Instinct

To collect all Trinkets, refer to a detailed guide by another Steam user.

Easy Money

Easy Money

In Chapter 2, be defiant and refuse to leave the mill. Sam will bribe you, and you need to accept it to unlock this achievement.

Memento Mori

Memento Mori

In Chapter 13, while playing as Sam, find Jaime in the storm drains. Fail the Frank Stone encounter (with the camera), and he will kill Jaime. Also, make sure Jaime fled in Chapter 5, or he won’t be alive for this to happen.

Power of Two

Power of Two

Keep Jaime and Chris nice to each other whenever you can. Always side them with one another, regardless of who you’re controlling. When you meet up again later as Chris, choose not to punch Jaime (fail the QTE action), and they will hug, unlocking this achievement.

Friendly Fire

Friendly Fire

Make sure Madi keeps the pendant herself, but when playing as Linda, take Sam’s diary instead of his gun. In Chapter 14, when Augustine hypnotizes Madi, Sam can shoot Madi. Don’t shoot Frank Stone, as that won’t unlock the achievement.

Nothing Personal

To unlock this, keep Chris in 2024 and make sure she doesn’t get the pendant. Then, have her go through the projector screen in the end scene.

All Seeing

All Seeing

The Cutting Room Floor is like a scene select feature that unlocks after you finish the game. It shows you the choices and paths you missed. To unlock this achievement, you need to complete all paths and see everything the game has to offer.
